Both are (rumoured) 500k second rower / props.
Which means they are "over-paid".
Are they worth that? Probably not.
Lets look @ Tupou…
He's been poorly coached. Ricky Stuart is a bad coach - no two ways about it.
Didn't use his strengths correctly & basically ruined him as a player.
He's an impact player - not a workhorse, which is what he has been used as for the past few years.
As soon as he joined the sharks, his career went downhill.
Now, Adam Blair...
Was greatly coached at a well structured club, Melbourne.
Test Player, Vice Captain, Premiership winning player.
All of a sudden - he sucks. He's lost all the skills he _seemed_ to possess at his previous club.
Tim Sheens more than likely didn't utilise these skills and had him playing a different game he's use to.
His career has gone downhill and to put it simply, he has sucked since he got there with the exception of perhaps one or two games.
The fans aren't happy and haven't been, with both of them - for some time.
Why is that?
If they were turning up week in week out and playing like they actually DESERVE the 500k - it wouldn't be a problem.
I mentioned in another thread, when you think of it from a business stand point...
If you PERSON X doing a job for you, for $100 a day
Which PERSON Y can do, the exact same job - for $50 a day.
Loyalty and friendship aside, what one are you going to go with?
Ultimately it's value x worth....
Are they worth the value they are receiving?
The simple answer is ... No.
And thats why the fans are mad.
We stand by our club ... win or loss.
It's so inconsiderate and selfish for a player to pull on a jersey - they should be proud to wear and dish out weak, careless and just plain lazy efforts week in, week out. ESPECIALLY when they are getting paid for it.
You should have pride in yourself, your club, your JOB and everything you do - or else it reflects negatively upon yourself.
I have no respect for any one that doesn't CARE about what they do.
No matter if you're a janitor, McDonalds employee, Microsoft CEO - you should do it right or stand aside and let some one that actually wants to be there, be there.
Thanks for reading...
