Know there was an old thread on this but can't find it. Is there any update news on Packer and his concussion headaches?

I think he's in big trouble. https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2020/nov/07/disastrous-failures-the-damning-allegations-that-could-undo-james-packers-control-of-crown-resorts

Haven't heard anything and probably like you, see the crown stuff as a distraction. With the Cordner concussion situation currently front and centre, reckon it would be a good time to bring something to the NRL if Russell is still suffering complications.

Still miffed as to how WT didn't get special dispensation and cap relief when Liam Fulton was forced to hang up the boots.

Yeah with the benefit of hindsight, Fulton was certainly the precursor to the HIA and concussion retirements. Would like to think the club will make representations to get Packer medically retired for his own health whether he like it or not.

BTW as a side question- how is Fulton going these days? Ive heard some bad instances of the long term effects of concussion into retirement and their older years.

Cannot speak to recent times, but I spent 4 days around him in September 2018 at a Sunshine Coast kids focused resort and he was certainly living that aspect of his life well.

One advantage of being a WT supporter is you almost always get an extra month in which to plan holidays.
