I don't wish to be controversial or upset anyone but wouldn't it nice for all and fair if the teams that play in this game are rotated each year? the same for the Charity Shield.

Agree. Well for this game at least, the charity shield is an almighty wankfest (can I say that Mods?) of the highest order. Just a glorified trial game. If they're not going to rotate the two teams for Anzac Day they should put some more promotion into other games (give 2 teams a game on Queens Birthday or Good Friday). This game is a massive revenue and average crowd booster, especially for the Rorters…

Maybe the Anzac Day game should always be a replay of previous years GF I think that is only fair to all clubs

I disagree here. The Roosters and Dragons organised this game to become and event, why should the 2 clubs that made the effort lose the game to clubs that don't? There are plenty of other games that get a permanent fixture (although a few this year were missed due to Easter/ANZAC Day being the same weekend) and there is nothing stopping 2 clubs organising event games to go ahead every year. If they arrange it, the NRL will make it permanent.
