I remember you once advising others to place their dwelling on an outcome, dunno about others but gald i didnt or else id be living in a box now.
But….your oinion sits well with me I guess, now the mouse is gone

Arana is one of the most talented players ive seen in a while and him benji in the halves could be awesome but the problem with him is, he seems to be a nutter and in the sydney lifestyle and if he goes well and gets the media attention i dont know if he will handle it 2 well

This guy is a ticking tomato waiting to be squashed once again. Why keep giving this guy chances he nothing but trouble. :smiling_imp:

i guess it comes down to hes got more natural talent than 3/4 of the nrl players running around… its a shame his mindset isn't so great though

Hey all I'm new to the forum. Im actually a die hard Storm fan however I noticed this topic, my family and I were AJ's Melbourne family during his time at the Storm and even after, right up until 2 weeks ago when he left to link up with you guys.

First of all I would like to start off by saying how great the kid is, he's like an older bro to me n I know all the crap thats been said and some of the stuff hes done but really hes a genuine kid. Secondly, AJ's preferred position is five eigth if there is a dominant half in the team however as with the Tiges, he prefers halfback when playing with a more free roaming half like Benji. I can tell you, AJ will be starting off at half next year as Tim Sheens has said he will be the incumbent come round 1\. AJ is a rare talent and I hope you guys bring the best out in him. Goodluck for season 2010, im now barracking for the Tiges 😛

Thanks for the heads Up, HOust….....AJ is a rare talent, that's for sure.....just hoping that is he fair dinkum this time regarding his career and ready to keep on the straight and narrow, and play his heart out.
I for only am looking forward to seeing him take a position by the short and curly and run hard with it.

Keep it constant touch with him ,HOist, to make sure he doesn't disappoint his Younger "bro"

Welcome & thanks for posting H0ust!
As Alad has said make sure you keep in his ear & help keep him on the straight & narrow

I'm really looking forward to seeing him play a decent number of games in a row.

I've also had the chance to meet Arana a few times, through mutual friends and he was always a nice bloke. Hopefully he can stay away from bad influences and not get too much on the drink. I think the tigers may be a good fit for him in this respect, and I think he may get his career back on track.

In regards to his position I feel he will play the beginning of the season at 7 and moltz at fullback. Lui I think will be given more time to mature unless there are injuries.

Sounds positive.

Now if Taumata plays half, and Moltzen is pushed to fullback, what happens if we sign Tuqiri? IMO Tuqiri must play full-back, and Moltzen must be in the side somewhere (not on the bench). I guess that leaves Moltzen at center or wing - but gee what a talent to have sitting out there! Has the pace though.

It has been a long time since we have had such selection head-aches. Good to have.

i have the feeling it could be bad if we have too many :stuck_out_tongue:
sheens wont know what to do and play moltz as a prop or something LOL :stuck_out_tongue:

dont worry we still keep in constant touch with him  My Dad's been on his case about pulling his finger out and just keeping a low profile. He knows this is his last chance pretty much, and we should expect to see a different man come the start of season 2010.
