Are we really that hated?

Most of the online forums such as foxsports and the telecrap are dominated by Manly and Dragon supporters. They always dis our team. Its really funny to go back to the week before and read the comments about how the Tigers will come 'unstuck this week' or 'they will get smashed this week', 'watch out for the Tiger tears' blah blah blah….but comments have read like this for 9 weeks now. I'd like for some of these keyboard warriors to actually come on after a game and atleast acknowledge a win rather then continue to bash for the next weeks game....drives me crazy.

The only thing i worry about (not really) is people saying after we win this grand final is "it was a fluke" again ala 2005\. That would really peev me off! Come on, credit where credits due.

the best is facebook. You get tons of morons commenting on the NRL pages wall that the 'tigers suck' and 'Benji is crap'. If there are people out there who don't like the tigers or Marshall then i can cop that, but to say they suck, after they have finished in the top 4 the last 2 yrs, and to say Marshall is crap, just shows there are people out there who totaly lack any kind of intelligence

Who cares I say, can't please all of the people all of the time and there are players from other clubs and other clubs that I don't favour either so it makes sense that the reverse applies. All I know is that the Wests Tigers are one of the top teams in the comp, it consists of some great players, some developing players some real battlers who give their best some players making a comeback and giving it their all some players who are leaving but digging in for their mates, themselves and the supporters, we are all in the eye of the tiger, the rest can go s__f themselves :astonished:

it is easier to put a team down, than admit they may be better than the one you support.

Most of the hate comes from the Dogs, Manly & Dragons supporters.

The former didn't even make the finals series despite beating us twice and we've beaten the other two this year when it counted.

I don't care whether we're hated or not, those who hate us can go fist themselves!

The majority of the posters on Fox have no idea. Their main aim is to get a bite from the teams still in the finals race as their clubs have already fallen by the wayside for 2011.
I read this area (But do not post) as you could quite easily get sucked in to their diatribe but it is a bit of a laugh and mostly based on jealousy on their part.

I think we can apportion some of the blame on the Nine commentators. They go over the top with their current favourite players. At the moment that includes Benji and "Big Keith". I'm fed up with the ridiculous things they say, but instead of thinking the players are overrated, I just think the commentators are morons.

1\. Those that support the mighty WESTS TIGERS

And I sometimes think that Fox Sports are heavily weighted with commentators that arent Tigers friendly anyway.

Gee I dunno - Warren Smith is a Tigers supporter, then you have Wiz and Junior on the game panels.

Daley seems anti-Tigers in some respects, but he came to grade when Balmain were big rivals.
