Im not confident but, a good start might change that.

We need to shut down Hayne (Obviously), and we need to make the most of when Fuifui is off the field, as he normally plays around 40-50 minutes.

I fear Wests will not be able to stop Parra's second phase play. And if that is the case, it could be a long night at the office. I think the Tigers defence has improved dramatically in recent weeks, but this is a test which will show how much of the attitude has changed when it comes to 'D' and shutting down the flair and flamboyance of the Eels. A game to prove Wests Tigers worth as a contender or pretender. The mentality will remain the same as it has done for the past 6 weeks; that is that this clash is Do or die for the club in 2009.

i fear the same thing you fear. if we lose friday night, yes, we will die a little and all the dissapointment that comes with until the titans match, but we'll still get another crack at it. We can afford and are entitled to another loss on this roster. Beating parra however will take us to another level. And anyone that voted that they are confident surely must have some reservations, even an inkling. And to the ones that voted confident of a win against parra this friday night, without any reservations, I hope you wont be too dissapointed if we dont get up.

shut down hayne, kick it out on every opportunity we get even if its giving them a free 20, we get our line set and go from there and have payten and galea rush the young halves combo any chance they can, if we do these 2 things fui will be irrelevent

But hoping they can pull it off and partially erase the demons of the last few years when they got close to finals footy and failed at the final hurdle.
I believe Wests Tigers have never lost a finals game,would be good to keep that record intact :mrgreen:

yes we will. 13+ tigers.
the only person worrying me in this game is tony archer.
before this year where 2 refs are used, we had only won 1 game from the previous 3-4years with him reffing.
i can not stand him.
he lets other teams molester our players on the ground so we cant get a quick play the ball.
this game will come down to who can control the ruck more and as u all have seen for the past few seasons, refs hardly ever give us credit for quick play the balls and catching teams and markers off side.
tony archer is the only problem we have.

we have to put a heap of pressure on mortimer and robson...
ellis and rhino can handle moi moi....
