Who pays the bills for NRL and Fox?Surely this is the biggest story in Sport, let alone the NRL, but not even mentioned on NRL Tonight on Fox. "Nothing to see here " ?

"Warning, payments may be de-Kleined"From now on, everytime they go to the bunker they will need to read out the 'game responsibily' caveat
What did Mal do ?Mate they knew about it in 2019.
They probably leaked it themselves to avoid the focus on mal.
Noice. 👍🏻👍🏻"Warning, payments may be de-Kleined"
Hypothetically, if you go to work and tell your employer you have a $400k gambling problem what are the odds your employer will respond by sending you on a junket to Vegas every year? For those of you playing at home, yes, every year!Gamble responsibly
🤣 🎰 🤣🃏🤣🏇
I mean, outside of disgruntled fans on social media there has been literally no suggestion that he is a cheat but sure...It's finally come out what we all knew...Guys a cheat and on the take!..probably with PVL too
What makes a person with a gambling problem a grub?Grub
It doesn’t.What makes a person with a gambling problem a grub?
Mate you’re wrong on both of these .Two seperate issues here.
1) NRL allowing him to ref with known gambling/financial concerns.
2) Has his financial concerns corrupted his integrity when refereeing games.
With regards to issue 1, I'm not sure how the NRL could initially keep him on in the role. Particularly as they try to distance employees from gambling conflicts. Surely avenues for him to be employed elsewhere or simply stood down. If stood down further questions of if/when he could possibly return to refereeing but no action is pretty unbelievable.
Having said that I think it would actually be weaker to take action now. For 4 years he was refereeing games with known gambling issues. A further 3 with remaining large gambling debts. If the NRL has deemed him fit to referee all this time, the revelation becoming public shouldn't change that.
2) there is no genuine suggestions of corruption. This isnt simply his own accounts don't show NRL bets but it would also be no irregular betting activity on his games. Any large irregular betting gets picked up pretty quickly Ryan Tandy, Bellamy Dally M, Storm wooden spoon as some examples.
