Ask the Boss Episodes

Lets get to know pascod better

Do you cut your own hair? Or do you brush your hair?

Do you fold or scrunch toilet paper?

Some very good questions being asked on the clubs Facebook page. I look forward to them being answered.

Should we shake up all areas of Operation (both on and Off) if we fail in 2021 to make the Finals

Should your role and lack of on field success result in your termination ??

https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/12/01/lessons-learnt-helped-navigate-aloiai-departure/

Good article, basically quotes Pascoe from ask the boss.

1. Is there a vision to have one home ground in the near future?
2. After the recent contract issues with Matterson & Aloiai, does the club have, or plan to implement, an engagement process in place to avoid or mitigate the damage of these nasty disputes in future?
3. Recruitment decisions made since seasons end look to have been financially smart, with financial risk far outweighed by potential reward. Are recruitment decisions undertaken by a panel now to avoid issues with short term panic buys (i.e. Cleary's power spending which has crippled the club.)
4. Is the club looking to make junior pathways stronger. For a club with a fairly large junior base we are not seeing many juniors graduates compared to a club like the Panthers.

I have one ...give me 3 reasons why I should rejoin as a member after deciding not to for the 1st time in 2020 .....

Why are we going to finish further up the table in 2021

And if we don't improve on 2020 will you put your money where your mouth is and refund me my membership from your own pocket ...ownership and accountability please ....

I can answer these.

(1) Is potentially yes, but everything now is dependent on the government's revised stadia strategy post-COVID. Originally the club was told to expect the Homebush refurb, which has now been canned.

(3) Yes there is a recruitment panel. Everyone gets a say, nobody has final say.

Oh you want to hear it from the man himself, even if you kind of know the answer?

Questions

What's the vision for wests tigers in 10 years time?

Is maguire signed up for his extension? Majority of fans are behind Madge and to see through his rebuild.

Can we update the logo and club branding to go along with the club rebuild we are currently doing?

Are there lessons for management from the Benji, JA mess departures from last year?

Great questions and i noticed that in the COE update there was nil time frame spoken ????

When the questions are controlled by the Club the members really get no say in what is asked as its the same as Media they only ask the easy questions.

Concept good but needs tweaking.

I don't think we need to touch the club logo its the only consistent thing in the club for its 20 odd years bar one minor tweak early on

Tigers fans here would boo Santa.

Constantly there is whinging and whining about the club not talking to us. The CEO starts a concept of regular discussion and people [censored] about his hair and the title.

It's a good concept but doesn't mean we can't give feedback to make it better.

The reason this segment is there is because we whinged and whined 5 years ago. As for the hair and the title discussion, it's completely legitimate. Maybe he's doing some sort of charity work where he can't cut his hair who knows, but it's a fine discussion to have.

It doesn't mean we appreciate the effort less.

I like the black and white

These questions have been passed on to the CEO...hopefully they can be answered in coming episodes..

What’s the vision for wests tigers in 10 years time?

Is maguire signed up for his extension? Majority of fans are behind Madge and to see through his rebuild.

Can we update the logo and club branding to go along with the club rebuild we are currently doing?

Are there lessons for management from the Benji, JA mess departures from last year?

What are the roles that Pascoe, Madge, Hartigan etc all play in the
recruitment/retention process and how decisions are made.?

When will be playing out of one Sydney stadium. Is this even a consideration.?

Tell us exactly exactly what happened in the salary cap breach. Did you not know the rules?

What is the club’s strategy to change its perception with players and agents?

What was the profit and loss for each of the last 2 years?

Recruitment has noticeably changed since Madge arrived especially with nil or limited nrl experience. Is this a definite system change or just pot luck.?

Should your role and lack of on field success result in your termination ??

Give me 3 reasons why I should rejoin as a member after deciding not to for the 1st time in 2020 …?

If I have missed any or anyone wants to add feel free...

I'd think that's half our original logo

It's probably the only thing we (WTs) have that's close to being traditional... other than missing the finals
