Alcott is a character, I enjoyed him saying how Sauvage and the other fella (forget his name) were inspirational for him

Kurt Fearnley. Another top bloke, gave someone I know’s kid an old racing wheelchair he had and supported them to compete.

Absolutely inspirational bloke as well. He crawled the length of the Kokoda Trail on his hands. Always comes across as a beautiful fella whenever he has been interviewed.
His autobiography is on my must-read list.

Met him a few times my wife went to uni with him really great bloke and good autobiography too

Great stuff?
He doesn't believe in limitations. Absolute champion.
Do you know if Kurt has ever been the Australian Of The Year? Would be well deserved.

OAM and AO.
Was a finalist for AoTY a couple of years back but missed out.

The 2019 Australian's of the year; Dr Richard Harris SC OAM and Dr Craig Challen SC OAM.
They were involved in the Thai cave rescue.

Cheers.

Really can't think of too many people he could legitimately lose out to......that year it might of been one of their token PC selections to please the woke of the world?

Lol not that year.
He lost to those two cave divers who rescued those kids in Thailand.

Took 2 guys doing something unbelievably heroic to beat him though…

Alcott is a legend of a person and will use the honour as it should be, to champion the rights of those who matter.
Tame is a petulant child who used the honour to further herself.
Don't care if you’re right or left, respect the office.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Or at least that's how I was taught also.

Imagine expecting someone who's friends have been getting backgrounded by the Prime Minister’s office to respect that man regardless of party.

Honestly, if it was you, would you even shake his hand to be polite, let alone be expecting say your daughter or partner to, or would you tell him to [censored] off?

Seriously, what a stupid comment. Morrison's a flog. Tame treated him as he deserves. You just hate the fact that someone dissed your hero.

Albo is the flog mate

No she wasn't. Morrison is one of the most evil and despised prime ministers Australia's ever had. Albo is a standard politician, but a decent person at heart. Scomo is a monster, and she treats him the way his actions deserve.

Nah, that's rubbish. Treat each individual on their own merits. That's what she did. Morrison is a dispicable scumbag. You respect others when they show you respect. He only respects rich white men. So gets dealt with accordingly

Personally have zero respect for Morrison. He showed his true colours when he went on holiday to Hawaii while half of NSW was engulfed in flames and when he let his deadshit Hillsong mates enter the country when most citizens of the country couldn't get back in if memory serves correctly. The bloke is trash IMO.

Grow up - she treated Morrison with what he deserved. The guy tried to sweep sexual harassment and assault under the carpet. But hey its a photo shoot lets all smile and pretend we are all on the same page.

Alcott embodies what this award is about…he is a champion on and off the court and loves the country to death. He will be a terrific ambassador and through his multiple platforms, will get shit done. Massive congrats to him.

Keep on topic please.

Oh hell, where to start? I assume you're some old guy, like me, but I don't want you to think, for a nano-second, that your derogatory comment of Grace Tame is representative of how we think.

I would like to think that the country that Allcott "loves to death" is not the one represented by you and your vile attitudes and comments about the 2021 AoTY.

And, for some bizarre reason, you then want us to trust your judgment of the quality and character of Alcott and what he can do in his role as 2022 AoTY.

Grace Tame and Dylan Alcott are, from my understanding of them and their achievements and aspirations for my country, are magnificent people devoted to current and future change in this place. Unlike you, they have the capacity, courage and support of many, many others to help them make us a better place.

Please keep the emotion out of your replies if you want to be taken seriously.

That's too funny. So YOU describing Grace Tame, 2021 AoTY, as a "bloody awful sulking idiot" is not emotive language?

I am talking about your replies.

And, I am talking about your comments that generated my replies. Disgraceful, contemptible and appalling by my standards.

Wow, I predict a heart attack in your near future.
Do you get regular checkups?

If you are the same stryker that was here a few years ago then i completely understand your posts.

Yeah, of course. Shes not the first to not want to shake his hand. Like it or not, there's a pattern here and you'd have to question why it's the case.
