Ava's game Friday Night

Was I just clutching at straws during the Parra game, or did anyone else think that Ava went up a cog in both attack and defence while he was on ????
Keeping in mind that it was only Parra that we were playing,I had the feeling that he caused a bit of havoc while ever he was
involved . I'm looking forward to seeing him against the better packs.

I agree. Most hit ups he seemed to make some good metres, and that ball he took behind him and ran through the line showed good coordination aswell! Can't remember too much of him on defence.

He has been steadily improving with more gametime IMO. One of the young blokes coming through who has definitely earnt a spot in fg.

What he does, he does well. He just needs to do more of it! Which he could do with some longer stints in the middle, will be interesting to see him next year.

As you say, it's hard to rate the performances as they were against Parra, but I thought Ava & BMM both had their best game of the year.
