Average Roster with too many holes in it

Totally agree Eddie with everything you stated.

It will be scary times when (not if) we get a few injuries. There is absolutely nobody in the lower grades, let alone outside the starting 13 that has me in any confidence. Especially when Origin hits and Woods is replaced in starting lineup by Buchanan and Luani fills in for Robbie :crazy

We dont just need a Centre and Second Rower, we also need some speed on the wing (Korobiete  ) interchange Prop or 2 and some backup halves. The second Row and Centre though are where all the money needs to be spent, yet we had Blair, Thompson and Takairankgi signed and are left with Sironen and Lovett who put in a few good games every now and then.

Don't want to disillusion you but Koro plays for Melbourne (thank God) and Tankairankgi (if that is how you spell it) was never signed to the West Tigers.

At how many clubs would the likes of Chris Lawrence, Dene Haltau and Jack Buchanan get a start??

How many clubs would Moses be playing right grade at right at the minute?

How many teams with a weaker bench?

I think they are competing to their ability so i can't be too harsh even though it was a embarrassing loss today.

I just don't understand the hype the media and fans carry on with about a few of these raw kids, plus average plodders. The goal should be to finish outside the bottom 4.

You should change your avatar to "Negative Man"

It's called being realistic. Better than living off with the clouds and kidding yourselves like so many of our fans seem to do.

Again I still think we are pretty close to the mark , but until the boys show up against the top sides for 80 minutes we will have that monkey on our back

Happy - and we knew we would have the monkey on our back for most of season.

All of a sudden it is a surprise to heaps of people.

We get closer every week to shaking him off, watching at the ground yesterday when we scored a couple of tries early - you could see the glint of magic.

The glint will gleam and defence will hold for longer periods, the confidence will grow and whamo!!!! NO MONKEY.

I understand your frustration, but there are other teams in the comp that run with the likes of Lawrence, Halatau and Buchanan when they have to. What we all knew before the season started was that we have no choice but to run with the roster we have.
Like others here, I'm not really convinced by Moses' performance yet but I'm keeping an open mind. I agree with others that he has potential and will need time to develop his game in the big league.
To me the hype is just that, hype. I think I had a pretty good idea how we'd track this season so I'm not surprised by the rollercoaster ride we're on. I really enjoyed 25 minutes of the Raiders game and was then disappointed by the complacency that followed. Something I noted though was that despite the disastrous slide from 22-0 up, in the last few minutes WT again found its form and very nearly stole the game back.
I've always liked rollercoaster rides. Go Wests Tigers.

With a 22 nil lead Farah with his experience and knowledge should have taken control of the game and we should have kick the ball out for field position and made sure the Raiders commenced every set from their end of the field.

I don't like Taylor's use of the bench. Needs to improve as we lose momentum when Galloway, Woods and Taupow are off the field at the same time.

Hopefully Lodge will be back on the bench this week.
