Ayshford's replacement

Yeah it would seem a long shot that's just a little too long. I get the logic though. Sheens loves his smoke screen.

Can people please stop mentioning Tuiaki. The amount of comments i have seen with sill throw away line like 'oh tuiaki will be back by then' etc. is a bit of a joke. The guy is a massive unit and he suffered a bad break. Even when he does start running its going to take him a while to get back into the groove of things and even more time for him to get his confidence up and hit top form.

I haven't seen much of the NYC this season so can anyone tell me how the centres have been going ?

From what I have seen in this years State Cup the form of the centres hasn't really warranted promotion to the top grade. so I would say Sheens will use the tried and tested (even if we think it has failed) players. Stating the obvious, Ayshfords position will be taken by either Brown, Daniella, Mataka or Fitzhenry. With possibly some shuffling around.

Dwyer or Akeripa would of been ideal replacements if fully fit IMO.

I can tell you that the replacement will come from within last weeks 17.

That isn't exactly rocket science.

Not when Fitzhenry was in the #17 it wasn't.

Calm down champ, jesus. It was more a stab at Sheens' fixation with Fitzhenry than you anyway.

Blake will play from my understanding.

Fingers crossed….

I hope he's 100% if he plays. Defensively he was off the pace last week and Tonga will tear him to shreds if he has another off day.

Still, glad he is not badly injured, he's a much better option then anything else Sheens would come up with. (Daniela, Fitzhenry etc.)

I think it s almost guaranteed he is playing.

He has had a few off days in defence this season but hopefully now he and Brown are settled in their combination

wow, i won't say i'm in complete shock but it will be a big relief if he plays. Better the team is kept as stable as possible if we want to see this team improve.

If he does play - I take it Fitzy will stay in the 17 to cover an injury rather than extra forward being named at the 11th hour.

could it be Tuiaki?

:master:

There is a small piece on Mitch Brown in the team news in this week's Big League magazine. It suggests Brown is merely filling the wing spot until Tuiaki returns. Brown was quoted as saying Tuiaki is jogging at training and hopefully won't be too far away from returning. Take that with a grain of salt as jogging and sprinting and sidestepping are two different things.
