Combined colours you say Abe? is that why the other night at the SFS, the banners on the poles outside the ground were black and gold, no trace of white anywhere. Is that your definition of combined colours?
Wasn't at the SFS so cant say I know much about that.
But decorations on poles is hardly a determining factor of the club's identity I wouldn't think.
Are we going to talk about the size of the magpie on the sleeve next? Coz I think that's where this is heading.
I don't care about the size of the Magpie, tbh i don't care if it isn't there at all, so nice try pigeon holing me with the dinosaurs.
And no that isn't the only example, just look at the merch. 90% of the time in the media our colours are referred to as Black and Gold.
And this is the club's fault how exactly?
Pretty sure this argument about 'identity' has been done to death more than a few times already on here.
If media commentators, journos, and the bloke down the road with the missing testie want to call us 'black and gold' or 'tigers' without the 'wests' in front of it, its not something the club has any power over. We can't control people's personal perceptions.
Which brings me back to the original point, how would Balmain selling off part of their share reduce their 'identity' with the JV to become equal to the Magpies?
