Hi Flash,

What happened to last years coach Ken Stapleton and his team which included Chris Braumann? I was told that Chris Braumann with his work at Balmain and experience at the Bulldogs, that he was looked upon as being the next Harold Matts coach.

having said that I think David Baysarri is pretty well credentialed.

Flash,

Come on, you are the go too man when it comes to everything Balmain, but we wont push you on it

What do you mean we, your the only one wayning about it. :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: :wahoo:

The coach for Wests SG Ball 2011team is Jason Williams the former Canterbury winger.

He has been coaching the Canterbury SG Ball team for the last two years and took them to a Grand Final win in 2009.

He only coached them in 2009 when they won the comp.

He was an assistant with the Magpies NSW Cup side this past season I think.

Does anyone know what is happening with Sonny Bristow, have WT got him with the 20's I notice he wasn't mentioned on the WT website and I heard he hasn't been to Wests Ball training lately.

FYI Wests junior reps have a trail against Canberra this Saturday, 11th December.

They're "meeting in the middle" at Goulburn.

"in the middle"… lol

the Balmain (and possibly WT NYC) junior teams were doing some very hard training at Callan Park yesteday arvo.

Kul,
That would have been the SG Ball, the 17's development and the Harold Matts that were training at Callan. The Tigers would never allow the 20's to train on that ground, we have kids rolling their ankles every week.
I must say that we are very impressed with the coaching staff and in particular Balin Cupples who is coaching the Ball, training has been very proffessional and the squad is shaping well and will be super fit. Great to see how keen the boys are especially the boys from Bathurst, Toronto, Central Coast, Woolongong and Campbelltown who are showing up for every training session.

Good to hear the Tigers are still training around Leichhardt…...Anyone know where Wests train?.....

What constitutes "very hard training" for a 17 year old?....lol....Do they know the meaning of it

Wests being as smart as what they are have their kids who live at Campbelltown train at Liverpool-Whitlam "Leisure" Centre and Warwick Farm - Durrant "Mosquito" Oval.

Most kids know a good coach from a bad coach and have only ever heard positives about Balin Cupples.
