Every single time these guys take the field they are both in our worst 4 or 5 players. Often being the absolute worst two.

Klemmer is at his prime age yet is regressing at record rate.

And Bateman, well honestly what do you say? This guy is the worst player in the NRL. He simply makes us winning more and more difficult with every appearance.

I honestly can't watch another Tigers game that John Bateman plays.
Benji needs to show how badly he wants us to succeed. It starts this week by naming Bateman and Klemmer in reserve grade. If both are in the NRL then he can't make the tough calls.

He isn’t playing up to his dollar value but some of the criticism is unfair. He’s an all effort guy on a beaten team.

My son just got home from the game. Said everything stops when Bateman runs the ball. All momentum is lost as his gets dominated and the play the ball is so slow.

Throw in his penalties (none tonight thankfully), his crucial dropped balls and missed tackles, and you have an absolute passenger. Actually not a passenger, a hand brake. I feel embarrassed for those defending him and saying he played well.

Klemmer is done for me. Too slow, too many ill-disciplined actions.

Not Batemans biggest fan but thought he played quite well tonight. Still not big enough to really trouble defences on the edge but he’s a hard worker and handy when he doesn’t lose the plot.
