Beau Ryan at Tigers for 3 more years

His performances over the last season and a bit is warranted of a contract extension.

Yeh he probably deserves an extension, some of his efforts have been very good.
Personally, the crowd interraction is a bit of a yawn, kissing logos etc etc not my go….each to their own
He plays up to the crowd...thus these "I love beau" threads....but credit where its due, his footy backs it up for the most part.

Some here remind me of the tweens chasing the current boy band, all gushing and gooey :unamused:

So we can't be happy to sign an out of contract player who has been one of our best three virtually every week Ink C'mon mate your sounding more and more like a bitter old man every week It's beneath you :wink:

However, he's really turned into a very reliable and consistent player. Reliable and consistent: attribute you can't associate with most of our other players.

Beau was playing up to the crowd for years even when he was playing bad foot ball.

So the popularity has nothing to do with his actions off the field. He has been playing good Footy for a while now and is rewarded. People can turn against and be be stoked with a player in the flip of a coin. Moltzen is the same. Was the player we HAD to have before his knee. Last year first half he was the worst. Towards the end he gained alot of respect. This year (and only 5 games into it ) he is the worst. He is showing signs of the good attacking game we know him for and his confidence will get better. By years end the fans will urge tigers to re sign him.

It's a bit like wwe.

This would be an option and could of been a reason for a 3 yr contract instead of 2 maybe,I think he would go ok there mainly next season as a back up,as well as on the wing.

Congrats to Beau on his contract extension. Based on last year and this year, he deserves it. He's giving 100% each week and it shows. I also think he is quicker this year. For anyone who is interested, take a look at the try the Tigers bombed against the Broncos last week when Tuqiri coughed up the ball on the Broncos line. The Broncos counter-attacked through their winger, who was ultimately run down by Ryan who had come from the far side of the field to make the tackle. I think he's gotten quicker with age.
