The bloke pats the Tigers logo every time he runs out. He is the heart and soul of the team and always gives 100%! I wouldn't have liked to put that tackle on Manu right at the end but he went in 100% committed.

He thoroughly deserves his spot on his skill alone.

He should be given the same respect by us that he obviously shows to the jersey!

Great post. I agree 100% with this.

Beau puts in. Yes he isn't a great player but he tries so hard and that tackle on Manu was a beauty.

I have to admit, that final tackle on the Beast was 100% commitment.

On that tackle alone he deserves a jersey next week. Agreed his runs from dummy half were effective and towards the end of the game, I remember him backing his way upfield and making 10 metres.

He deserves his spot on those efforts…...

Beau went ok… He made a couple of mistakes but his rake out on Manu when he was over the line and his 1 on 1 stop saved the game. That was without his effort to score... I agree he stays till utai comes back... Has anyone heard what's wrong with lui?

He was not the worst out there yesterday and deserves another chance . Still think he could be the answer at fullback if we don't resign Brown The tackle on Manu was proof why . He has a dig every week Pity a few others don't do the same every week

I thought he played well - although I thought he dropped the ball in planting it over the tryline and did curse his name a few times.

His commitment on Vatuvai was first class. Slowed him down enough for the scrambling defence to catch up and then led to a mistake.

I don't know what is wrong with you guys, you just pick someone and then stomp them into the ground. The posts on Fitzhenry, Moltzen and now Ryan are just rubbish! Tall poppy syndrome? How about supporting our own? We want them playing as a team on the field, how about supporting them the same way.

Cursing mistakes and constructive criticism - Yes. Take all the other rubbish to League Unlimited where this type of droll fits perfectly.

What about the match winner the tackle on the BEAST 5 out thats commitment as Jack Gibson once said I'd take 13 like that any day! This is whats been missing in our side Beau nows commitment.

Good call snake - those calling for Koribiete & Finau ignore the simple fact that defence remains 50% of the game!'

alien - this "rant" is well & truly over the top as Beau (who I am a critic of) has played very well in the last two games!

As for those who bagged me when I said Mitch Brown was an "ordinary"winger" - grab your humble pie - as he is nothing more than a passenger at the moment!!!

Ryan is going very well…...peeps baggin him have agendas that stop them reading his game!!

And agreed re BRown.....his hands are killingq us atm and the defense isnt much better!!!

Wingers preference in order and in the absence of under 20's players

Tiquiri
Brown
Ryan
Fitzhenry
Moodie
Play with 12
Gary bakerloo
Utai

I've never rated him, but I am more than happy to see him trying hard to cement a position within this team… His dedication to the Squad is second to none and his try in the corner yesterday was a great effort... Well Done Beau!!!

Utai

Utai has probably been our second best winger this season.

The problem is he never looks comfortable under the high ball anymore which is why the Warriors kept bombing his wing. A winger needs to be good under the high ball. Yesterday one of the times he got in a good position but then ended up looking away from the football. Another time yesterday he didn't defuse a bomb and it ended up being a try to the Warriors. He is a better player than this but isn't playing as good as he is capable of.

He had some good moments and some very poor moments.

He will always be a handy third string and as long as that i how he is used within the squad, i can live with that.

With ball in hand yes, all other facets no.

His performance defensively against the dragons was awful and confirmed all concerns about his signing.

He is playing with the right tactics. I don't understand some people feel that the players need to leap for the ball. They boys always give it a good crack if it's in goal, but if you are outside the goal line, the best tactic is to let it come down and tackle the attacker when he catches it.

You don't want to be going up for a difficult catch and fumbling it for another set of 6 on your line.

I could understand this thread being created on another occasion, but not on yesterdays performance. He did enough good things, to outweigh a couple of errors and easily outplayed Brown, who imho was just bloody awful. Yes there's better wingers out there, but at the moment Beau knows the starting side.

I have been at the head of the Ryan dislike wagon for a season or two now but I thought he played very well yesterday given the circumstances
