Beaus a sook

Loved him as a player over the last 18 months however he comes across in this interview as a kid who's thrown the rattle out of the cot.

'I wasn't made a priority, they gave me the contract on Monday but I signed with cronulla later in the week'

Ahhhhh ok…

I dont agree with a lot of what the clubs management are doing but to me it appears they are trying to eradicate the crap and soft attitude that the players get away with.

I wish beau all the best but I'm not losing any sleep Over him leaving

Im leaning towards agreeing.

Crying on the footy show, please. MY gut feeling is he just saw a better offer at the Sharks and pounced. I don't think the Tigers told him he had to go. Maybe he had a sook and decided to go with his mate Heighto. If so, then fans should not be crying for him.

Thank Beau but lets move on.

He was told last year that he was going to be given a contract to sign, and the club never lived up to their end of the bargain. He said that it happened again twice this year. Then look at last year with the whole Moltzen saga.

Like he said, what is stopping them from doing it again next year? Who is going to want to sign for us with all this bullshit we pull when signing players?

Made me realize why this squad hasn't won a comp. Being with mates appears more important than winning

What this should all prove is that saying both players were given the flick by the Tigers is complete BS.

And Beau talking about 'proper documentation'….what a crock. That's not Beau speaking, that's his manager. All that interview says to me is his manager went searching for a better deal and got one - interesting they both have the same manager as well...something fishy there me-thinks.

It's kind of bittersweet. I like the guy as an entertainer, as a player and he seems like a classy dude.

But this is really reflective of the problem at the Tigers. They all think that they themselves and THEIR mates are beyond reproach. Benji thinks Heighno and Beau are untouchable. I'm sure Farah thinks Fulton is untouchable. Benji thinks Sheens is untouchable. These guys need to stop treating the Tigers as their own private playground and more like a career. If you had a job getting paid hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of dollars you wouldn't make a huge deal out of your mate going to work for another business across town.

They gave him the contract
Monday. Moltzen hadn't signed the contract with saints, inglis hadn't signed with Brisbane either. 99% of contracts are signed in the off season, they do letter of intent etc during the season. It's how it works. Beau knows this, his manger knows this.

And as for 'what stopping them from doing it next year?'

Umm how about the THREE YEAR CONTRACT you signed the year before.

Beau has had a cry, nothing more, nothing less.

You're not a happy camper are you Ferg?

Beau handled himself well, obviously very hurt but stayed true to his word and never bagged us. Tigers dropped the ball here, not Beau.

If people want to know how much stock our club puts in "agreeing to terms", look at Moltzen and our actions. You can not bag a bloke for ensuring he had future in the game.

Tigers offered Beau a deal, and he knocked them back for Cronulla. His words pretty much

Credit to him, saying he loves the club and he is not bagging us.

But He was not forced out.

Seems like the Tigers management is a shambles in regards to shambles. A total shambles and disgrace.

The mole wrote this way back in June…...

Beau Ryan gave Tigers officials a bit of a shock on The Footy Show recently when he announced he had re-signed with the club for 2013\. Negotiations were far from complete - but they have since gone into overdrive recently, with Ryan in career-best form.

Last year he was offered a three year extension that was never presented to him. At the eleventh hour he was offered a one year extension.

This year he was offered a three year extension that was never presented to him. At the eleventh hour he was offered a one year extension.

He got sick of being lied to and treated like an afterthought. He is a good player and the most important piece of player media property in the NRL. He fairly believes that he is more important and more valuable to a club than what the Tigers felt he was obviously. The Sharks will respect the guy as property I guarantee it.

I wonder who he was referring to when he kept saying "there was a breakdown of communication at the top" - because he seemed to be trying to clear Humphrey's name, and I don't really think he was referring to Sheens either.

it was ryan's fault for announcing it on TFS when he hadn't signed the contract.

Nah I respect Beaus performance he didn't criticize the club or the management despite being given every opportunity to do in the interview - respect to Beau. Benji on the other hand was dissapointing and unimpressive.

I agree with releasing Beau from a playing point of view but he is a fantstic human being and we should have kept him at the club (Yes I know I have said different about mkeeping him but I was very impressed with him tonight.

However I get the feeling the board and perhaps the chairman has been more heavily involved in the recent blow ups then Humphries - especially as he went out of his way to repeatedly say how much he respects humphreys and the hard job he has

Agree completely with tiga4eva…clearly mates are more important than a successful club. Should I be happy when 17 mates run out and get lapped by 50 each week? No, and nor should I. Time for the club to take some control (whoever that is) and bring back some old fashioned discipline

LOL as if he is a sook.

They strung him along and left him dangling. If your employer treated you like that I'm sure you'd feel upset too. Meanwhile you got another club who make him a priority, make him feel wanted. It's human nature for him to want to go there after how the tigers treated him.

It's a shame to see him go, however there is major problems with our management.
