This was a defeat that could (and should) have been avoided. We had enough ball in the first half to give us a handly lead. However, a combination of errors are defensive lapses, cost us dearly. We will learn from this.

In the heat of the debate, there are many calling for heads to roll. One (bad) performance does not mean we throw out the baby with the bathwater. To the extent that changes will (and can be) made, will be a measure of what we have learned from this game.

If nothing else, this will bring some players back to earth, and to the grind that is winning rugby league games. There was only 1 point in it, in the end, it is not like we got flogged.
Again, with all the injuries Brisbane had, we could have done better, but I think this is part of the journey we are on.

Not happy with the result, but understand that there will be games like these. It's how you get off the canvas, on AND off the field.

Ha, I think it was me! Ink didn't like it and accused me of only criticicizing Terrell when we lose. I've noticed it before and made comment about it. I think it was against Parra during the live thread. I said something like, 'I wish he'd just wind up and run hard and straight'.

There are enough Origin and champion players in that side to give any team a run for their money.

Haas came off before HT. I think they were missing 7 or so starters. Even Madge and Broncos supporters felt it a was miracle with how many players out and injuries they had before and during the game. It was certainly not the premiership side by a long long stretch. Maybe not reserve grade but call it baby broncos or their B side, who we can’t seem to beat. There is no excuse to lose last night. Our A was awful and we should have won it in the first half.

My concern with that game is we had the bounce of the ball and just couldn't convert... and then when the Broncos had the ball, they seemed to run in with ease. It wasnt that one thing was off, both our attack and defence was poor.

I think the lads have been reading the papers. We're still mentally weak.

I actually agreed with you...and i didnt.specify you when.i said there was.a general difference of opinion on Terrels game depending on a win or.a loss...hes critiqued with a.loss and.lauded when.we win.despite his game being generally the same

Basically it was a game we should have won and won easy. Okay due to a good start to the season it’s not terrible, but we should be improving as the weeks roll on and our attack is still disjointed .

Raiders will be the test, they can attack from anywhere, but can leak points. Another loss would see us mid table

Exactly. Their team is stacked. Arthars and Shibasaki are also excellent
Even without Walsh and Carrigan they are arguably better on paper. Plus, they have experience and premiership pedigree.

@Tiger_heart it wasn’t a bad performance. It was a few little things that swung the game IMO. That’s footy. Happens to every team.
