Is Jack Wighton indigenous? An indigenous Scotsman maybe 😂 Geez if he is considered to be indigenous then I might well be too!

What makes this guy so abhorrent, is that what guys like this do behind closed doors is so much worse than what they do in public. So if he's assaulting her in a public casino, I'd hate to think what this person does when he thinks no-one is watching.

Make no mistake though, this is on Todd Greenburg's head. He helped cover it up a previous time, and surely there has to be a point where the welfare of people comes before money. Just hope Inglis never hurts someone whilst DUI…

Jack is of Aboriginal descent, his family still lives in Orange.

How is Mosgrove looking now following the heavy punishment sure to be meted out to Barba following his latest incident? Wests Tigers appear to be holding in abeyance the CAP payment iinitially aimed for Musgrove. The longer it takes for Musgrove's case to be judged the worse it is for Wests tigers from a CAP point of view.

Yup. I was shocked tbh because i thought he would go well in fantasy this year. I forgot who i got instead, think i changed a FRF and got Brimson

I'm gonna get a lot of hate but i hope he gets a second chance. He's a really talented player (and drug addict LOL) and i think he is still yet to reach his peak of his playing ability.
IMO, he needs one more chance but after that, BANNED

Now you say that (Violence against Women) i have changed my view a bit, but still reckon he should be signed for 1 year and 1 year only, to prove he can be trusted

He's already had a few chances. There's a couple of articles showing his history. The game doesn't need him, let alone society.

I think your view is great in that you trust the human spirit but there’s just so much of this poor behaviour that there needs to be zero tolerance imo.
Then again if blokes can drive pissed and be slapped on the back by the CEO…....

I'm all for giving people chances, but Barba has used up his share.

This guy has assaulted the mother of his four children on a number of occasions and likely regularly, so he deserves nothing less than incarceration.

He has been given many chances at every club he has been to and that is the problem. The Cowboys have done something which should have been done years ago.How many chances do you give someone who assaults their partner? Sadly far to many women have paid the ultimate price for ignoring continual actions like this.
I hope he never plays football again.

Another bloke with a bad track record.
Unfortunately he’s time in the sun has come to end.
And I’d be disappointed if the club even flirted with the idea of signing him.

He's not going to change so long as he keeps being forgiven just because he's a good footy player. Would you think he deserved yet another chance if he were a player the calibre of Matt Groat? Probably not…

Personally I think Barba is scum for doing this, but my question is to Greenburg.
He is in an interview saying he can't see Barba will ever play NRL football again, not under my watch, and then he focuses on following the evidence. But then he admits that he hasn't seen the CCTV footage yet… so he hasn't seen the footage, yet he's convicting Barba already?!?

There's no doubt in my mind that Barba is guilty, Cowboys wouldn't have dumped him otherwise, but how can the NRL lay their findings already on him even though they haven't looked into it yet??

I find it laughable Greenburg says "he cant see Barba playing NRL again". This once again shows a lack of balls. It really should be simple, if Barba has done what is alleged, then he WILL NOT ever be allowed to play in the NRL again. It's really not that hard to say Todd. The NRL is either against or for DV. Stop having a bet each way.

I think that the only reason Barba was allowed back in the NRL is because he had something on Greenturd, over the way the assault of his partner was covered up by Greenturd in 2013 when he was at the Dogs.

Lucky the Cowboys have a better CEO than Greenberg.
"The couple are understood to have travelled home together in a taxi as reports suggest Ms Currie wanted to keep the alleged domestic violence a secret.

Ms Currie pleaded with the Cowboys to keep the former Dally M player of the year in the squad, despite the alleged public display of violence where Barba allegedly threw rocks at her, [The Courier-Mail ](https://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/nrl/teams/cowboys/ben-barbas-partner-wanted-dv-incident-to-remain-private/news-story/22faeea09114114c7afd0e9bf17b031d)reported.

She reportedly declared the alleged domestic violence was a private matter as she was fearful about losing the stability of his income."

That sounds very similar to 2013 when Toddy decided to let him keep playing.
