Ben Hunt

Anyone think he's not the most improved player, if not the best player running around for the last two seasons by the length of the flemington straight?

Definitely up there. Although the Broncos have a couple candidates for that honour this yr. Jack Reed was always a dud, but he's come on in leaps and bounds under Bennett this yr.

Hunt has a habit of being magic then disastrous then somehow magic again to win the game

Agree, I am still not sold on the Broncos, but when they are hot they have a lot of points in them.

Granville for me , has improved out of sight since moving to the Cowboys

As i said way back on the 19th of April

Jake Granville has iced the last game the last two weeks now against decent opposition. I had him just ahead of Austin as buy of the year before the season started so im not surprised but great to see someone of his age step up to their potential like that.

Potentially the most damaging hooker the Cowboys have had since the enigmatic John Doyle. If he can lock in that hooker spot he will go a long way to helping the Cowboys to a Premiership.

Early days yet , but potentially another one of the Cowboys signings could be the buy of the year

Lachlan Coote missed all of last season , but is looking the goods this season

Couldnt even pay him one simple compliment back then, "early days yet" was the nicest thing you could say about him.

Pffttt.

It was 7 weeks ago and they are both killing it

His defence is what is impressing me now and how he is coping with the extra game time He has taken his game to another level

You take everything so personal TITG ,if you don't like what I type foe me and you never have to read another remark

Simple

Tiger,I know Bens brother personally, they come from a very athletic and sport centred family..his brother told me he had plenty of offers elsewhere but wanted to be coached by Bennett, hence he stayed at the Broncs…also he will improve further this year under Bennett, keep an eye on him,he is a special playmaker....

Yep
Last year I said On this forum that I would rather Hunt than Brooks (for now) and howled down mercilessly
Anyhoo …....

Milford is also making a great transition to five-eighth as well and simplifying Hunts game. They're going to be a great partnership in the years to come.

Like a lot of players with good teams around them I think he's overrated.
Same goes for Keary at Souths.

I don't think Hunt gets that much press, if we are talking about over-rated footballers.

I agree with OP, he has come a long way since he debuted. I was thoroughly unimpressed for the first season or two, but he has sealed a number of games for the Broncos this year.

Or putting it another way, if either one of our halves see fit to score a solo try in our next golden point game, I won't object.

i think you'll find that most other non WT fans would say brooks and moses are overrated- they've constantly gotten so much press around them

Our guys are talked of in terms of potential.
Both Hunt and Keary were talked about for origin THIS year.
I'd put a few bob on Brooks and Moses looking better than both of them, even at this stage of their careers, if they were surrounded by the Broncos or Rabbits teams and coaches.

Pffttt.

Told you he has a dual personality lol god love you Happy.

There are a couple including Granville who are more improved but that's only because Hunt was already a gun. He could be anything and it will be interesting to see, I love watching him play.
