Ben Ross?

Would be a nice addition provided it wouldn't stunt the growth of any of our youngsters due to lack of first team exposure.

The guy is a model professional now he's had a glimpse of what he could have lost and that aspect would help with our kids too. I think the bunnies had him registered on a minimum contract but after this year's performances i'm sure his management would be shooting for a bit more than that.

I wasn't fussed but after his game in a losing side against the Broncos I have changed my tune.

Maybe he is playing for a good contract with a few teams interested?

This bloke gives everything & would leed by example, he knows what it like to not be playing footy & would be some one to look up to seeing what he has been through.

Personally i would have thought he would have been a better signing than Matthew Bell as well, as he has had rep honours football and would be a good mentor for the up and coming young forwards we have as well, obvisouly people are worried about his injury otherwise someone would have signed him, he has been leading by example and playing well for souffs.

He certainly wouldnt let us down not a naturally gifted player but tries hard. To be honest with the talent we have coming through even though he is an honest toiler i couldnt see a spot for him in our squad

Ross is on good money at Souths, I think his expectations will be far greater than we are willing to pay. Iam sure their are a few clubs that will be willing to pay more. We are okay in the frontrow stakes, Groat,Woods,Galloway,Bell and talk of pushing Ellis up front. Not to mention a few others running around in the lower grades

Its been reported he's on minimum wage at Souths, not good money. Personally i have no idea, but thats what ive read

Ben Ross hadn't played for 12 months when Souths signed him, and there was never realy any guarentee he'd play again. There is no way he'd be on a lucrative contract
if we're talking front-rowers who would come pretty cheap, i'd like someone like Shane Shackleton

Not sure if the Bunnies have offered him another year, but I for one would love to see him at the tigers.. he would play for a can of coke and chips and would put in 100% every game.
