Jobs for the boys?.

I don't think so Mate

Jobs for family is dubious, Clubs employ mothers or partners all the time. That's dodgy

Benji would be great in the ESL and there is nothing wrong with hiring people u have worked with previously or are indeed friends with.

I have 3 guys I effectively take with me in my new appointments that form my management team. I know them, their families and we deliver outcomes together.

It's crazy money for Benji. But even crazier still when you consider the Super League has a smaller salary cap than the NRL.

I was reading in the nine nsm news today that Benji has knocked back the ESL deal to stay here because he wants to play in the NRL next year....who is giving him a start next year and how much for...???

Benji will be at the Dogs if Burton can’t jag a release and that seems almost certain

Burton will be released to the Dogs. Panthers need the cap space to re sign players. Dogs know this they will bide their time.

I don't know who is more nuts...
...either Hodgo for offering that kind of coin or Benji for not taking it.

Yes he is insane for not taking it - get to experience UK for a season, earning great money, playing under an old 2005 mate, and ending his career with dignity playing first grade. Instead he'll probably be on a pittance, and playing reserve grade.

Though to be fair it might have been the wife's decision!

Not to burst anyone’s bubble , but you might want to check those covid numbers in the UK , and whether or not he would even play anyway . Not to mention the health risk with young children .

Yeah it's been pretty horrific there, but they have already started rolling out their vaccine, so things should rapidly pick up over there.

Good luck to him ...he will still make a few back rowers look like Bob McArthy and Steve Menzies

Especially the ones running at him

We couldn't keep Benji because we had too many halves. Reynolds is gone, we have spare cash and the Tigers is his home. He brings a mountain of experience and has kicked field goals from halfway.

So we will lose games when we miss field goals from 40+ metres out now?
