I think Benji sealed his fate when he did that dopey kick in the final moments of the second round match against the Souths.

and souths knew full well he does this on a weekly basis and still signed him. idiots. love the bloke to death but his time is up, should've seriously given it away at the end of 2019.

LOL ...did Benji sign for Souths ......

Benjamin Bunny!

Maybe I'm wrong ..but in my opinion he is destroying his legacy now

I think you're right. More than that though, I think it confirms how big his ego is and how driven he is to feed that ego. I wish him no harm, but I'll be a neutral observer, at best.

When they play us:
I hope he plays well
I hope we smash him into next week
I hope we flog them
He is now not one of us

And should never be invited back unless it is 2005 celebrations .....and even then he should be told he has to wear a Souths jersey , Broncos socks and Stains paints if he wants to be allowed in ...just to remind him what he did

One of his classics.

Wasn't it 2nd tackle or something? Is that the one?

Fairly sure it was either 2nd or 3rd, either way my television was lucky to survive.

Just went back to the live game thread. It was 2nd tackle and we had 3 minutes on the clock so time wasn't a factor. It was just a low percentage brain fart.

Season done.
To make matters worse I swear I saw Brooks on the left hand side jumping up and down when it went to him. (Benji that is)

Tis beautiful Benj checking in at Redfern

Gold

Dumb decision by benji.
Someone close to him should have tapped him on the shoulder and said enough is enough- and he should have gone out in style on the night of chris lawrence's last game.If he had done that,Tiger supporters would have respected that decision.
I hate to be a prophet of doom, but things can't end well for benji.
I can't see any upside for benji boy.

Congratulations Benji 🥰

Look, Benji should have stopped.
But I 100% get why Souths signed Benji. (the current market makes this totally different).
Benji does stuff on the field that no other playmaker will do. If you face a defense like Melbourne like Penrith that you cannot crack, Benji is the safebreaker you need.

Your Souths, You have Adam Reynolds and Cody Walker who are two great halves. But if one of the high defending teams blocks them out, you loose. When you are stuck, looking for tricks Benji is the player you want playing for your team. Benji can get you over the goal line.

Bennett knows this. He knows if the Rabbits are winning he won't put Benji on. He knows that if the team is leading possession but down or not getting the points he can break the defense by adding Benji.

Now his defense is a weakness (far better then what it was).

He bad mouthed us twice. He is not a club hero. Irrelevant thread. Sorry. Loved what he provided but his commentary against us negates it all. Talk about him on the rabbits forum

He's still a club hero.

He is quite arrogant in the way he goes about things but he's easily one of the best players we've ever had, no matter what happens.

One of the best - yes. But he’s no club hero to me mate. But that’s just my personal opinion. He craps on the club every chance he gets which I think is piss poor.

Yeah look, I agreed with the club's decision not to re-sign him but I just think as a current player he'd have to have the confidence that he could've still performed and done a job for us and was obviously upset by it. I think in retirement he'll understand the club's decision more.

He's a club hero to me, in that he brought more people to become Wests Tigers fans than any other player and changed our club forever.

Entitled to your opinion though mate.

He brought a lot to the club and was a great player but I agree no club hero due to the way he slams the club. Time will change that as these things will be forgotten by most.

It made me sick how Tiger fans cheered as he came onto the field for the Rabbits against us.
