Definitely calling it a day.

I will be leaving his faults out of the discussion for today and focus on his achievements. Will never forget the premiership he helped deliver us.

Same, forever grateful for helping deliver us the premiership.

I thank Benji for all he done positive for our club , that step all kids wanted to do , his ability at a young age , a Grand final victory , all positive today for a champion footballer and one we all wish we had another coming through right now just like him

My thoughts exactly mate.

If he does retire, which I think is the plan....
His career should be celebrated.

??

Thanks for everything, Benji.
A boy we watched become a man, that inspired a generation of talents after him with his new exciting ability and personality.

Lots of great things, no doubt. But for me, destroyed by burning all his bridges here. Don't forget, he's been to the Auckland Blues ,Bronco, St George and a Souths player. Great as he was, for me Wests Tigers is best represented by Wobbi & Chris Lawrence. In the last 10 years its all been about him, not us.

I don't care about that today.

Will always be grateful for the way he changed the team in the early years.
Will never forget being at the 2005 GF and the thrill of winning after 36 years of being a Balmain and WT fan.
Coaches who could curb his exuberance and give him a plan to follow certainly got the best out of him in later years - shame we couldn't do that.

Legend. Despite his weaknesss no individual player in the modern game has had more influence on young players. We need him to be affiliated to the club going forward before some other club grabs him

As expected.

An incredible legend of the game and probably the best Kiwi rugby league player we have ever seen. I've seen him play in primary school, high school, uni and now 5 years into my full-time career. I still remember the day I moved to Australia and every guy in the classroom was replicating the Benji step. It's been a pleasure watching him play each week.

Enjoy retirement Bunji!

Thank you Benji, You are a superstar. Thank you for the memories, 2005 premiership we will never forget you and that flick pass. xox

That play against Parra at the end......it never gets old. One of the greatest pieces of individual play i have ever seen.

I'm glad he's calling it a day, that i got to see him in his prime and that despite the hiccups along the way, he was one of ours. All the best Benji.

What are people's favourite Benji moment?

I can't pinpoint one but the short side 1st man plays to Gareth Ellis were my favourite. Especially the one in the Semi against Canberra. I'd have Benji as the most deceiving player that I've seen, whether it's with the stepping or the passing. He would nail a 3 on 2 or a 4 on 3 more often than not.

Loved it when he punched Mitchell Pearce in the face.

I know we ended up losing the game but I was sitting right in line with the around the corner pass to Ayshford against the Eels.

Burned into my memory.

That was a special play.
