Benji Marshall #70

We are lucky to have had him in our colours for so long. Plenty of faults, but his highs were higher than any. That run around 2009-11 was next level.
Hopefully we can get him involved at the club in some capacity, even if it's just as an ambassador or similar. Get him in the ear of potential recruits selling the club.

Yep. 100%. Although having Madge there still???? Awkward…

Greatest tiger ever. Blessed to have him. So many good memories. He gave everything when he put the jersey on. Hope they put him in the coaches box. We need more tiger dna in the club.

Hope we have spies on touch football fields all over NZ. The club had an identity when he was at his peak.

Great to see fans from his 4 NRL clubs coming together on LU to discuss him. Overwhelmingly positive which is encouraging.

Wayne Bennet gave his longest speech in HISTORY and he and Benji both spoke well. Probably the nicest ending to a RL career I have witnessed. Wayne doesn't talk for more than a minute if has too .... for those under 18 or under 80 in IQ. And he hailed Benji a 'legend'.

I’m enjoying the Benji Marshall road show on FOX.. just showing the Melbourne game from 2010 at Leichhardt .. remember the Day Rowdy had his jaw broken Fifita of the bench Skando in his return…Lortay on the wing..and Cammy’s still a rlog

congratulations, Benji. I could genuinely write a PhD on what you've done for the rugby league community, but the two 15 minutes of mayhem videos on YouTube explain it better than I ever could. thank you for everything.

^ Yep, seems like fundamentally he's a good human being, the game could do with more like him - There are (still) some serious pieces of shit involved in the NRL playing group.

Never look down on a man unless you're helping him up.

We're all products of our environments.
