Dean Ritchie reports the petition is set to fail..Sorry Bulldog there was never a snowflakes chance in hell of it succeeding in the 1st place..

I often wonder if these blokes ever re-read what they write before it's published..

I'd love to hear about the last petition that actually changed an organisation's mind.

A lot of us are still hoping the Kick Hobbo out petition has or is about to work

#permanentcooler

You would be bored if Hobbo got canned.

I could just solely focus on sending Geo insane ...Hobbo gets in the way

Hobbo is a rock of sanity

Don’t give Happy your phone number ..
@Geo and myself made the ultimate mistake .
Now Mrs Happy texts Geo ?
There’s no escape from the utter dribble and toad talk !

Paint fumes ...enough said ..get some fresh air

Not really surprising that Benji would be offered a position after he stops playing.
Very marketable, ticks the sponsors boxes, has high profile, and would be especially good with young players coming through.
Hope he stays.

If you have former players involved in the club, it leads to a much stronger message when journos contact them for comment.

Why do they need to comment should things be kept in house and leave the comments via the CEO/Coach or Marketing executive not former players???

How does the club prevent that?

Well the 1st thing would be limiting the current players from speaking about internal club decisions with a privacy policy and termination of contract clauses.

Next would be limiting the amount of staff that are available to talk to the media as mentioned prior.

Anyone involved in the Media (Benji - Fox) is requested not to make comment and extra clauses inserted.

We have a culture that player unrest dictates what happens rather than club policy and whenever there unhappy they just spray the club rather than keep in house.

Noted Madge for all is hard nosed approach is not a very good communicator with the players, Benji decision already made but did not have the balls to tell him at the time, was leaked from whom ????

Example is players that left the game early, change the policy that all players contracted regardless of playing need to turn up and support the club/team unless given an exemption by the coach signed off by the CEO.

If your getting paid at your workplace you turn up....

That has nothing to do with preventing former players from making comments.

Your comment was - If you have former players involved in the club, it leads to a much stronger message when journos contact them for comment.

I assume that former players and any staff would all be on the same confidential contracts??
As stated former players unless the CEO/Coach should really be saying nothing that's not in there PD.

There are lots of leaks coming out of the club always has been policies in place prevent that and add to culture, Cheers.

Former players don't have a contract with the club, that is why i suggest that involving former players would prevent thar and allow you to better control the message.

We are talking about Benji i assume that what this whole post is about, he is a current contrated player and has been whinging to all his mates at FOX that's why we get so much negative press, former player current player still need some confidential clauses or terminated.

I listen to blocker rave about Marshall the other night then put in a nothing kick - Former players will always comment about the club right or wrong.

A lot of people have been complaining about former players commenting about Wests Tigers, I suggested when it was raised about Benji getting a role with the club that involving former players prevents that from happening. If that makes sense lol

Yes mate makes sense but have to say think in recent weeks he has not had the clubs own interests at heart mainly his own agenda, just need to clean up the leaks and i am sure some are coming from him but not all.

He has options at least to consider that wsay be a WIN/WIN for both long term, Cheers.

I think the issue that irritates fans is the paid for comment ex players aren't Wests Tigers players..they are from a different era

Until now we haven;t had the history or players ...there are those that are legends to us like Skando or Fulton but not the media.. We need more currency people like Marshal Farah and even Rowdy will be

Munster looks more excited now than he did when he was a kid.

Champion @Lauren , don't be shy - just pop these pick-me-ups here anytime you like!

Benji has entertained and absolutely impacted rugby league fans for years....I hope he gets a great send off this weekend...

Damn shame it's at Bankwest against Parramatta and in a COVID year for - Benji and Lawrence. I wish I could convince myself that they will lift but not feeling confident.

I don’t think we’ve lifted for a player’s farewell or landmark game ever, so I don’t expect the team to change their ways now. I think we’ve definitely clocked off for the year, so even though Parra aren’t really playing all that well I think they will still beat us comfortably. Just hope it’s not too much of a slaughter.

It may be coincidence, but we seem to only win milestone games when it's a milestone for a Storm player we are playing against.
