I cant cop the excuse that Benji is too good for the team. Too many times he clearly takes the wrong option yet we gonna blame the 12 guys around him?
Maybe a few times someone like Beau couldnt foresee what Benji could, and we came up short, but most of the time its Benji just throwing a bad ball trying to be too cute.
I think your right however i think Potter has worded it the way he has to bring Benji on board without denting his confidence, i could be wrong but to me its all about psychology as when Benji is confident he is at his best. I actually thought it was a really smart attempt tp mold Benji into the player the team needs. I could be way off but thats the feeling i got out of the article.
