Happiest day of the year for me.

He might snap out of it now. The next step is for Humphreys NOT to re-sign him again!

HAHA you took the words right out of my mouth! LOL

The funny thing is they want to sign him to a $4 million deal …. wow the most expensive benchy in the history of the game

This is good. It will allow him to come into the game and just worry about his impact with his running game. It should hopefully force him to drop all the ball playing mentality that he has had the past few years.

The $4M resigning was rubbish made up by fairfax.

He was getting an upgrade on his current contract that was agreed when the new salary cap was finalised.

Exactly, it's nowhere near $4m.

Hope it isnt put to him as a strategy defensively, even if it is, and thus puts the boot up his ass he has been needing. Even without the new contract crap he still has years to serve, and we need him to get it together asap.

I like it. Give him a kick up the arse, but we then loose a forward on the bench which we will defiantley need against souths. I would drop Benji for the week, bring him back next week. Potter need big ones to make that call, but if benji is out of form, 20-30 minutes isn't going to cure it.

Could it be that Benji is injured? If he is fit he will play but the players will train in those positions?

Sheens made some ridiculous decisions over the years re team selections. We have a new clown people. Your a joke Mick Potter.

well if there benching players for being out of form we need to keep going his not the only one our halves are only as good as the platform layed befor them

I do not know what decision you are talking about, but if you are talking about the decision to bench Marshall you are correct.

He should have been dropped all together.

I agree Col. If Benji is to be demoted, he should have had the guts to go the whole hog. Benji is either 5/8th or dropped completely. What Potter has done here is weaken the forwards, weaken the halves and wasted a bench spot.

Stryker you are 100% per cent correct, we are going into this game with 1 less forward and we are playing against what I believe the biggest forwards in the comp , that is a brain dead decision .
It's a bit like having a utility on the bench and not using him (sounds familiar?)
