I believe Benji will become a great leader and coach. He is already showing the traits of Mr. Bennett in the art of man management, media handling and not being afraid to do the things that he believes in. Loved watching Benji as a player and love watching him developing as a coach with a set of stones.

With Moses and Galvin saying benji can’t coach , on 360 the other night gordo, put up a chart of Galvin stats from last year to this year , this year was nearly 100% better than last year , so if that’s not improving ur game I don’t know what is , it comes down to one thing then MOSES hates benji and the tigers

Anyone who thinks that Benji hasn't always had this kids best interests at heart has celebrated his talent, and would never stand for him being bullied is a deadset moron.
Lachy knows it and that's what is so disappointing that he and his family allowed a piece of scum to use lowlife tactics to belittle him publically.

Look I don’t rate bunji as a coach. Not enough experience through the grades. Surrounded himself with yes men, his mates. No experienced heads in the coaching staff. Didn’t handle the senior players to well, just got rid of them!

I haven't commented on his coaching much this year because I'm not sure what to say yet. We could have been 5 out of 6, but we're not. We've been much improved.
This has the feel of the seasons we used to finish 9th, competitive and entertaining games (for the first time in years wow we were boring).
If he gets us anywhere near the 8 he has changed my mind and if he gets us in it he is coach of the year. I couldnt imagine writing this 10 months ago. For the first time under his coaching we currently deserve a pass mark, so keep it up champion Benji and good times will come.

It's a bit like Ricky with Canberra and Des with Manly.
I think last year that was probably true . Especially because sheens had Furner in as an assistant . I was hoping Furner was gonna be kept .
But this year with Morris and Hodgson 2 former top level head coaches , I don’t know how anyone can imply the tigers don’t have good coaching Z the head coach has very little to do with day to day drills , and intricate tactics and instilling them in the playing group . The defense is run by Morris and the attack is Hodgson .
Even in lower grades a lot of time if there’s a coaching team you’re not even with the head coach .
The fact we call it head coach kinda isn’t really the right label . It’s more like manager .
Benji has been all class. His blood would be boiling knowing the agent told the kid to compile a dossier to destroy his reputation to get out of the club. It’s as low as you can get to break a contract.
It’s untenable the players know a snake is in the dressing sheds. It can’t be put back in the bottle. It’s not an off the cuff comment it’s a pre planned internal hit job.

Good questions, but it also makes you wonder what makes Galvin believe Jason Ryles is a better coach and mentor than Benji ?
