Besieged WT's cut big $ deal to move home games to ANZ

Shit ground in the middle of no where….already being used by the dogs and rabbits.

Yeah lets play there...so ink can get a pie in comfort.

I did not know that the Dogs and Rabbits were using Leichhardt Oval. You learn something every day.

I'm with ink on this one , I'd rather have a pie in comfort and dispose of the pie in a half clean toilet !

Im hearing the opera has excellent stalls and a nice quiche at intermisso.

Maybe this is more u and Inkiepoo's scene!

I have a spare ticket to see Rod Stuart at the hunter valley , care to join ink and myself ??
It's outside on the grass just like leichhardt !!!!

I must admit I watched the vid for it and it did look impressive.

But…..its complete lack of infrastucture is annoying.

Maybe of there were a few more pubs and restaurants around so u could make more of a day of it....and maybe the ferry over instead of the train would be nice.

And still we would be sharing it with two other sides.

It looks awesome ! Would certaintly change the whole game day experience for any ground in Australia.

But i could see it now, the whinging and b****ing about the colour of the stadium during our home games.

Complete lack of infrastructure? It has it's own dedicated train station and buses run to the place?

You need to realise the game is professional now, and as such it needs to cater to a wider audience to continue it's growth. Only a fraction of people want to sit/stand on a soggy hill with a warm can of $7 beer. I love Leichhardt as much as the next bloke but it is well out of touch with what is required to cater for a wide audience.

It's a privately owned stadium, if they want all this fancy stuff they can darn well pay for it themselves!

Allianz and Parramatta require upgrades before ANZ does.

And the ability to make the stadium oval shaped should also be scrapped for a permanent rectangle. The SCG is a lot bigger now and the Swans/cricket never fill ANZ. A full SCG beats a 1/2 full ANZ every day!

I understand completely.

Im just saying there needs to be more than 1 pub withing 5 kms of the place.

Apply for a liquor licence and open one up.

Why worry about where we will play, With the players we are losing, we'll be lucky to have enough spectators to fill Merrylands Oval.

Easier said than done these days CB,but wouldn't it be nice if we could all chip in and buy a joint that we could call the WT Tavern right near ANZ…
Ink could be in charge of pie and hot dog vending, while happy and Flip could be I charge of security....
I've got my Licensee Certificate and I could oversee all operations..
Jerry and Irvine with Tigermama behind the bar...

Not to bad an idea,we can only dream.....
Now on topic,we must be able to get a heap of money from ANZ to have our home games there, otherwise the suggestion would be crazy...just for example I wonder what the Wests Leagues would get out of a home game at Campbelltown Stadium and what they contribute to the WTs..I don't really know, but Iam only asking...

Goldcoasttiger, there must be something going on that we don't know about. If all these players are going and we are not replacing some with decent NRL experience the I'm afraid JT and the new board are on a suicide mission….
We cannot afford to take the field in 2015 with what we have got left and the couple of signings we know of.Not only will there be an exodus of players, but also WTs fans and supporters....

look absolutely amazingggg!

that vid is awesome

pubs, roof, close to the action, transport EXACTLY what sydney needs. Dogs, Souths and Tigers should all be pulling 20-25k avgs in any given season playing out of this place.
