Best Captain?

Farah, with Buckets and Senter a good tie for second.

Poor ol' Darren - our captain during our darkest moments.

How we let Prince hold the shield as our representative as captain in 2005 still pisses me off

Buckets should of captained the side for a team he bled for his entire

Not some ring in who once he repaired his career (which was nearly gone if we hadn't thrown him a lifeline) walked

Must agree.
Felt for Buckets.
Whether it wouldve worked differently if he stuck with O'Neill, we'll never know…it was a typical Sheens dog act

Wasn't McCracken also our captain until his unfortunate injury?

McCracken, we were second in the comp and at 10 all in the game when he got injured.

He goes off…

We lose 40-10 and we miss the 8...

How many captains show those results?

Daniel Fitzhenry
Boldly captained the team for one game on the wing against the Titans

I hated the Senter years, I didnt like his style.

i know he always gave a 100% and all that, dont really like nigglers.

Yep, always good for at least one stupid penalty a game

Hodgo for mine . Lead by example. Similar to Farah who never stops trying.
You looked at Hodgo and he was "what you see is what you get" type of bloke.
Too much politics in recent times for me to vote for Farah.. I mean all this talk about players being divided and players running the show etc. Didnt hear that rubbish with Hodgo as the captain.

I wasn't a fan of Senter at all, but it was a massive effort from him in round 1 of 2002 against the Bulldogs in 30+ degree heat when he scored 2 tries and put in a MOM performance after being up all night the night before spewing his guts up with a virus. Being a victim of the same virus only a couple weeks after made me realize what an effort that was.

Same virus? Were you kissing him or something?

I was at that game. I caught a replay last year on fox and spotted myself in the crowd, it was an eye opening flashback that's for sure

Dirty Darren was a great clubman in those battling tiger years, that's for sure. I have fond memories. It's probably what it would be like to have Ennis as a tiger

Hes probably the only hated player weve ever had

I thought he was great….never took much notice of him at Balmain, I lost interest in WTs the first few years but he really caught my eye when I got back into the game around 02/03
