Best case scenario

Cant Happen now Titans won..Highest we can finish os 12th…

But in better news if Raiders beat the Panthers tomorrow we have officially avoided the spoon regardless of our result as we have a superior F/A to both Newcastle and Penrith ...those sides and they play each other in Rd 26...unless of course we lose and they draw... 😕

Last year we won 10 games with an injury ravaged side and a tough draw

This year we had statistically the 3rd easier draw and a great run overall with injuries. Taylor also had more more power then Potter signing his own coaches and sacking those he deemed surplus.

We are currently on 8 wins so we can manage 9 overall, which is worse then last year.

Still if we finish with 9 wins i expect nothing less from the Taylor apologists then to say it was a clear improvement on 2014\. They will ignore all the context and the win/loss ratio.

Bottom line last year was poor, this year was poor, worse with the lack of injuries and soft draw. You cant polish a turd but some people will try.

You could say the same about Farah and his form over the last two yrs. You can use stats to twist any argument your way.

This year has been the worst in our short history and JT is the worst coach I have ever seen including supporting Balmain. That includes coaches ala Alan Jones and one T Lamb.

Its pretty ordinary seeing what has happened this year especially considering the quality of players we have on our roster and the number of injuries we have had.

it could have been a lot worse, James Tedesco could have left for Canberra when he signed the contract, today we might have been sitting on 6 to 10 points, he is without doubt one of the most potent attacking weapons in the NRL today and most of our wins were attributed to teddy, hence our points won is more to do with roar talent as against Taylor's coaching in my opinion. I'm willing to listen to anyone on this forum whom can explain in clear linear fashion as to where and how we improved under Taylor as against potter last season? I just can't see it..

sure thing:

2014 Points Conceded = 631 (26.3 per game) - 16th in the NRL
2015 Points Conceded = 530 (23 per game) - 11th in the NRL [assuming the raiders concede 4 pts tomorrow]

Hard to compare when potter had a much better squad but was cruelled with injuries whereas Taylor lost a few good players, had zero depth but minimal injuries and will be finishing in similar positions in both seasons

I now disagree with JT attempting to remove Robbie from the organisation but I honestly think that our attacking and defensive structures have improved greatly when we have played well this season.

When we have played well our structures have looked awesome in both attack and defence.

JT's downfall has been getting the team to play to that level week-to-week and even half-to-half.

That will hopefully come with the squad's experience.

What quality of players? Please name them. We have a fullback, no centres, no backrow and one front rower. We also had a hooker when he decided to turn up like today and our halves struggled because our forwards are average at best

Simona is a gun. Naiqama is better than average. Halatau, Lawrence, Taupau and Sironen are not a bad set of backrowers. Galloway, Woods, Sue and Ava are more than a decent set of props.

What does that mean?

You cannot compare potter to Taylor IMO.

JT had full support of the board. Almost entire spine played almost every game together, no massive injury toll. Not to mention, each of these youngsters are a year older.

This year was quite a failure and not just due to ladder position. We've underachieved.

Not defending JT, but why does everyone that rag's on him say 'we've had no massive injury toll' without crediting JT for the new S&C team? Sigh; I suppose the haters gunna hate hate hate… sing it Taylor!
