Best New Signing in 2010

I know he stopped hayne but i doubt highly he chased him down. Hayne would have to be one of the quickest. Like i said had to be right place at right time!! He's the Tigers own Johnny-On-The-Spot

I'm not sure if you are giving him more credit than he actually deserves. I think he will play his part in the team and is a very solid defender. Perhaps a bit slow at times though. I doubt he **chased down** hayne!! It must have been a case of right place right time! Surely

I'm tipping moors to be a good signing. If he is as big as people say then he could easily play front row and add a bit of mobility along with Galloway who is pushing rep honours.

Gibbs is most often the first forward back to take the first or second hit up.....his workrate in defence is better than most second rowers including ours...he's not lazy.....

Giibs attack has been soft and ineffectual untill last season....where IMO he showed glimpses of being an effective metre making PROP....he stepped up when Galloway was injured and finally started to get through the advantge line...some want to get rid of him now......

If anyone is going to benefit from Folkes conditioning it will be Gibbs......

I've said it before... _**2010--The Year of Bryce**_....wouldn't surprise to see twin Tiger Bookends for Origin.....

gibbs was bludging in the background when he tackled hayne. he then gave away a penalty and the eels scored off the next set, so effectively he didnt help the team in any way whatsoever.

i could count on one hand the amount of first and second tackle hit ups by gibbs in his career. ive never seen a bloke take more fourth tackle hit ups then him in my life.

Support for Galloway and Gibbs at Prop appear to be a rotation including Moors and Tupou (If fit)

You're forgetting Cayless. He'll get a start before Moors and Tupou I suspect.

Galloway Payton Cayless Gibbs Tupou Moors Fifita

thats the order me sees it in right now

C'mon Balmain Tiger, you usually make sense, but a winger who's been injured for three years outranking Moors & Fifita, two genuine options for the front row? That'll do me.

Moors could be a real option at lock the way things are shaping

I've heard he has lost a lot of weight and looking very fit.

Only Reason that i put Tupou in front of Moors is that i look forward to seeing a fast paced front rower. In saying that if Moors/Fifita got the spot over him id still be happy.

I don't think Moors will end up in the front row the way he is going.

if not the front row where do you see him ending up?

2nd row or lock. He's dropped a lot of weight and would be a waste barging it up the middle like a typical front rower.

Yeah he's dropped a lot of weight, but he stacked on about 10-12 kgs last season after his injury and being stuck in reserves. He's probably back down around 102, 104 now - the weight he was at when he often played prop from the bench at penrith.

id love to see him in the squad but im not to sure who we would have to drop to accommodate for him

8\. giibs
9\. farah
10\. galloway
11\. ellis
12\. heighington
13\. fulton

14\. taumata
15\. moors
16\. payten
17\. mataka

who am i missing here?

Cayless is the notable ommission. I can understand Tupou being left out given he's hardly played in the last 2 years. Not sure Fulton deserves a walk up start just yet. One option could be to shift Heighno to lock and slot Moors in the second row with Ellis. That provides some linebreaking size and power either side of the ruck but again, the trials should give us an indication on who is looking keen and sharp and who looks to be off the pace.

you make a good point about moors. Though to be honest im excited to see how fulton now plays seeming he has been playing at 5/8 over in the SL. But yes as you said the trials should help us decide who deserves a spot

man o man, i cant believe people are raving about our pick ups. Theres a whole bunch of people there that shouldnt even be playing first grade….and if they are we are in deep deep trouble.
