If our best game, being against the benchmark team in the comp had a full bench compliment of forwards, why would we assume this week that carrying another half is the premium.

Best team shouldnt need reserves to cover, possibly carry a utility, but not a straight out positional swap in the 6-7\. Either Moltzen is up to it or not.

Our best team should be full strength in the rotation. So say Fulton to cover injury, otherwise a 4 man menacing bench.

Also, we have been lucky thus far to balance our promotions within an experienced group. Nofo and Simona… I promise at least one of the two will be totally and utterly exposed and will tip the scales towards pushing the envelope.

I understand your point but let's face it Sironen will most likely play more games in the backrow than anywhere his few first grade games were there and he played very well. With Thompson gone who's your replacement? Akauola? He's fine but then we're tipping the scales in the forward pack with inexperience with him and Ava on the bench. IMO Sironen's exposure to first grade is more important he's too talented to play reserve grade pure and simple.

On Simona and Nofo it's not ideal but something must be tested. Lawrence is basically a ghost at the moment.

Sirro played at 6 when he played FG. He's likely to start at 6 if he gets a run this weekend.

As soon as Moses is back Sironen will probably find himself in the backrow, so why pull him up to first grade now if he is going to go back and play in the backrow. Keep him in NYC and bring up Miller, I am sure he will be wanting to prove something whilst Benji is not here.

This must not be broken up, it will get better through time, they all need to learn each others games which has not been able to happen since we have had many changes to it, Tedesco will only get better on the wing. He had a bad game in his debut because he had no time time to prepare on the Wing it was a last minute decision; Last week he had time to prepare and he played great, he will only get better. I can not get over the ankle tap on Slater. :slight_smile: loved it.

People think Miller will become dominant all of a sudden without benji but based on what I've seen this year, he wont. Benji has been heaps more supportive of miller this year than farah and given him chances. It's farah who would need to be removed for miller to be able to step up. And he WAS but miller did absolutely nothing…

Seems like milller needs more than a week in reserve grade to get that confidence of commanding people 5-10 years older than him. If he comes up and plays very well, all well and good. Just can't see it happening considering the last few weeks.

I really thought Teddy would go to Fullback & Moltzen to Half, but yesterday they trained with Sirro @ 5/8 so thats probably the way they will go.
