Starting benji on the bench serves two purposes:

1\. It gives benji a wake up call
2\. He will come in after 20 or 30 mins when the big souffs forwards are puffing and hopefully it gives him that little bit of extra time to make better decisions and run more effectively. It might just help kick start his confidence.

It's not a long term solution, but based on his form and the state of affairs in 2013, I can live with it.

How anyone can be so harshly critical of Potter is beyond me.

He inherited Sheens' bullshit, has had a horror injury toll, not helped by Sheen's eagerness to throw stupid amounts of money to a handful of players in return for sacrificing all our quality depth.

So now we get injuries and we have untried, untested and in some cases, non-NRL quality players into the side.

He had the balls to put Benji on the bench. It needed to happen and by [This word has been automatically removed] I hope he sticks with it.

He apparently has been considering releasing Blair at the end of the year.

Both of these are massively positive things to happen.

Some of you idiots won't be happy with a new coach unless he somehow has the team undefeated and racking up cricket scores every week.

At least Potter has been willing to try some kids instead of going to the Cutters to find washed up former players.

I see what you're saying, but that wasn't the catalyst for my previous statement. Potter is copping a bagging from some because Benji wasn't dropped altogether. Perhaps Potter can't afford to as our caps might be maxed out. Which player to promote is inconsequential as he could well have intended to promote a player that wasn't a half/five eighth.

So I agree with you American History that is all we have to hold onto .
I'm happy to see out these tough times with some big Glory in the near future and it will happen before Farrah's new contract is expired .
