Blair blah blah

We can still get a feel for the type of player by watching him more closely though and it has been interesting.

I saw him live when Storm played Titans a couple of weeks ago. He didn't play the full game but still plenty of good things on the field. After the game he and Smith hung around for ages signing autographs, they were the last to leave the field. Probably not as big as I thought he might have been but plenty tough. His line break late in the game showed what he can do wide of the ruck as well as in the middle.

He looks to be a real pro (probably to be expected given his Storm background) and should fit the current WT and Sheens culture. I've no doubt he'll bring plenty to the team and club.

He was just on one week at a time . The gayness of his voice was alarming ( not that there is anything wrong with that). Does he have any form as back ?

Sounded fine to me, soft spoken young man, rather articulate. I'd rather sound like Adam Blair than Darren Locker.

I cant believe that people keep bagging him, we will end up with prob the best back row in the comp.

People focus purely on work rate these days, as so many things are stats driven, there is alot more to being a great player than make a million tackles, David Stagg & Luck have a huge work rate, but I'd take Watmough or Creagh whose work rate is far less any day of the week, there work is of far higher quality, Blair is similar, more quality than quantity.

The Highlights reel the ONE HD guys played during the interview last night was very impressive.

Two words Aggression and Impact.

We have the workers in Fulton and Heigno, I think Ellis has a new Partner in Pain.

Interview here Guys

Yeah, it was a beauty.. can't wait to see him produce a little bit of that for us next season, with Ellis dishing out some punishment on the other side of the park.

Yeh true his a gud player he will be playing diff style with us next year i recken we should put him with lawrence and tuqiri he has mad offloads in him and dats the go to side and i hope we see lots of these hits in the future for the tigers 😀

Can anyone name any forward ON THE MARKET who has better credentials then blair:

-multiple premiership winner(even though stripped)
-played in multiple finals series
-A key member in the team currently ranked first
-NZ vice captain
-world cup winner
-4 nations winner
-21 kiwi call ups
-1 all stars game
-Kiwi(meaning he wont miss matches during origin)
-only 25 years old- still fresh legs for a forward
Regarded by some experts at different times through his career as one of/the best forwards.

Now who ON THE MARKET has better credentials than Adam Blair, there arent even that many players who are not on the market who have better credentials.

Ok now can you believe why people keep bagging him?

I cant Lisa…with Ellis and Blair in a pack our side is SIGNIFICANTLY strengthened in defense. As others have said, Heighno and Fults are our workhorses...we need more hitmen with mongrel. Blair not only provides that, he has ball skills as well!

I still want a firey prop but am hoping that either Woods or Groat will grow into this role.

Point being, Adam Blair will give our pack starch and he brings a winning attitude to the club. Nothing but positives for mine.

& penalties & indiscipline & "SIGNIFICANTLY strengthened in defense" NOT. & by the way he cant fight either.

:unamused:…Wow that is a contender for the most nonsensical, boneheaded sentence I have ever read on here.
