Your mate is full of s*** or Anasta is delusional haha, there's no way that the starting 6 has already been picked without even seeing how Austin and Moltzen have trained

Dont shoot the messenger, Iam just relaying what I was told. We dont know what Anasta has been told or not told but Potter could have told him we are looking at you in 2014 as the no6 to give the team experience and stability, who knows. A lot can happen in a off season. Anyway I was just making the point that I hoped every player every week is picked on form and attitude.

Wasn't having a dig at you mate, just find it highly unlikely that the 6 has already been chosen. Obviously the coaching staff would have their favourites and a rough idea of the full strength team but for anasta to say he will be the 6 next year is very premature

Potter has already stated Anasta will be the preferred starting 6 to help guide young Luke in 2014…

Obviously trial form will be considered, but all coaches have a preferred starting 13... Talk about picking a team on form is usually media and supporter speak. Most coaches will go with what they know!

I heard potter say the halves pairing for 2014 ideally will be 6\. Anasta 7\. Brooks

That's fine, I don't mind if he has a pair in mind. There's 6 months of pre season and trials before round 1, a lot can change.

Must admit I'm surprised Anasta isn't having groin surgery in the off season

what to try & find it? Played like a man with no b*lls at all. He makes Daniel Fitzhenry look like Dally Messenger. Look what Siezer achieved at the coast ,sometimes players just need an opportunity bring on Blake. P.S I don't believe Moses would be chucked to the lions just yet. But if premierships were won on potential the Tiges would be favourites.

:roll no he was having persistent issues with his groin which was causing him grief in particular with his passing game and lateral movement

People talk about pre season form, for years I have seen players excel in preseason games and been talked up during the pre season, but when push comes to shove the coach rolls out the tried and trusted in round one and most weeks after . Thats what I hope might change at our club

For those interested in seeing how Blake goes at 5/8, he has been listed at no 6 in the final against Newcastle today.

Top call…..will be watching that with interest!!

Austin has had a hand in all three of Windsor's tries. What's even better is he was the one to take control when Windsor were behind and going sideways. Showing very great signs. Reminds me of Kieran Foran.

Was the difference between the teams

Went to the line well, held the ball in both hands, ran first but was also passed before and after the line. A good kicking gameto boot.

Obviously a massive gap in quality between this and first grade but he is an out and out first grader.

He looked the goods at this level, hope he can carry it on NRL level next year,I bet Braith hated commentating on this game, never mentioned he is playing at the WestsTigers next year, wonder why.

Braith probably knows he doesn't have long left in him. Is probably looking forward to mentoring our young halves
