Boedene Is What We Need

Tonight I thought our forwards stood up , with this line up we can match it with most sides.Boedene is an animal he has the mongrel that can intimidate the opposition and BMM was awesome, I really cannot see where Fulton can fit in.I hope Harry sticks with this pack as it can take us a long way forward.Although we lost I was very pleased with the effort.

I've been waiting season to see how he would go, really impressed. Hit the line with speed and agression. IMO he will be in our starting lineup for a while. We now just need to sort out these backs. All the good hard work done by the forwards, to loose the game in the backs. Even though we lost, really happy with the way they played, bring on the s :sign: aints.

Thompson was fantastic…....he just booked himself a spot in the run on side for next week.

Amazing what a forward pack with size and momentum can do It wasn't great ,but it was lot better than anything we have seen this year

Add Keefy to that side and we look ok (as long as they can back that up )

Thompson was very impressive. He played with enthusiasm and aggression. It was good to see. Definately made a tough call for Potter to make about Fulton should he be fit next week.

THompson…Thopmson, hopefully Bell, Blair and Pettybourne step up and match him. The bench players played well too, even the two rookies. Well done guys, we'll get them next time.

If he isn't in the starting side next week then there is something wrong. He was excellent.

What an absolute beast Thompson was. I always thought that he was a handy player but wow, he just went like a cement truck in attack and defence. It seemed to inspire Blair and BMM who had close to their best games for the club. You'd think he wold only get better being his first game in first grade in what, 10 months?

Can Thompson play centre? if so could be an option if the coach wants Fulton back in?

100% !

I dont know what happened tonight, but the Pack worked like beasts. Those mohawks were a display of solidarity, they worked hard for each other, they were fired up. Hopefully Blair caught on and can nurture that seige mentality and stitch our pigs together consistantly.

On Fulton, people are going to tell me I am all Sheens here, but with Lawrence playing like a poonce maybe we can turn him into a centre. Hear me out, he has the hand skills, solid as hell defensively, would get a bit more space to isolate players, and seeing he is on the books for a while now, maybe we can turn him into a full blown utility. He isnt the quickest off the mark, hell top speed isnt that crash hot either, but running at 6 or 7's and centres he could be a handfull, and even Lyons and Mattai would feel his defensive pressure… just a thought.

Thompson was a centre originally till he bulked up, possibly a little too big now and not quick enough anymore?

I think he could do it to cover an injury but i would't want to see him there permanantly.

He can , but why would you want to move him

Bring some young speed into the side and keep our go forward going forward which will eventually create some room for the young speed , defensively they couldn't be worse than Rowdy

I originally thought put him in the centres, a big strong guy could wreak havoc out their, but after tonights performance, starting second row!

P.S. Black n White - Is that your Cat….......I Like!

IMHO Tedesco has again shown why he is our 1st choice FB.
Lawrence had enough chances, we need more speed, so T Simona to replace Lawrence and Nafoaluma to left wing.

Imagine that go forward with speed in the backs.. crazy what we could do!

How about we just play the whole 20's team, because what we nee is as little first grade experience as possible!!! /sarcasm.

There is a limit to the amount of new players you can support in the team at one time. Realistically we are already over it. You cant promote everyone all at once.

Finally the horrible backrow combo of Blair, Anasta and Fulton is broken down 1 and we have a hell of a lot better pack. More aggression, more intent, more threat. Anasta stays in the halves or goes to reserves. Fulton will have to compete for his starting spot, I would be starting him from the bench. Thompson played with real aggression it was fantastic.
