And there in lies the problem, he thinks he is worth more than the club value him at.
Thinks he is worth more?
He took LESS money to leave the club and go to Canterbury. Teddy took LESS money to leave the club and go to the Roosters. Moses took LESS money to leave the club and go to Parra.
A large majority of the people on here need to stop just copping the pure BS that Pascoe is dishing up for us at the moment - our three best players, all products of our junior system who have mates at the club and love the Tigers.
Why do they take LESS money to leave the club? What kind of club have our current management made us when our three best players all take LESS money to leave?
This whole situation has been so naively and disgracefully managed by our executive staff and board that we have enhanced our reputation as the joke of the competition. Other clubs laugh at Pascoe & Go and how they are running our club - how is this good?
We've now got a coach who knows what he's doing with close to a clean slate (as terrible as it is to lose our only recent State of Origin players) but we're being held back by the people in charge. Quality players won't want to play for our club, or if they do it will be for MASSIVE overs. Something needs to happen before we are left in an unrecoverable tailspin.
Board appointed Cleary.
Nearly 3-0.
Plenty of people I know who don't follow us say to me finally you've got administration who got a good coach and are heading in the right direction.
They say hearing Elias in the media has made them realize which board members stuffed everything up.
The Elias bluff has failed
Were winning and moving on….....without him on the bus

She hasn't got a clue about Footy and that's what counts .
She didn't even know who Laurie Daley was
Don't you like baking mate ?
Flip , she may be an astute business woman in her world, but she has no idea of running a Rugby League club and as Chairwoman of this club is responsible for all the garbage that has occurred here under her charge. She needs to resign and get out
None of you even know that, you are being foolish GCT and hobbo. Purely foolish and you are letting the fact that she is a woman cloud your judgement.
This has been asked many times - provide an example of how she has failed in her job as chairperson. Specifically, find an example, what it was that went wrong and how she specifically was responsible for it in her role as chairperson.

Can you even honestly tell me what Marina Go's role is? Describe her role to us.
@ said:@ said:Go saying fans should not boo just demonstrates again her lack of football background and understanding. She seems more interested in her own media profile than she does about the club. Which other board leader gives all the players a hug after the game.
At a minimum she should shuffle into the background and let Pascoe and Cleary be the the public face of the club.
Disagree , at a minimum she should quit and take up baking or something similar .

>
Wests Tigers chairwoman Marina Go has pleaded with club fans not to disrespect the likely departing players after skipper Aaron Woods was booed by his own fans on Sunday.
>
The pre-game team announcement saw a number of fans turn on the Tigers captain, venting their frustration over his decision not to take up the club's offer before last Friday's deadline.
>
"They shouldn't be booing our players," Go said. "If these guys choose to leave, our fans shouldn't be disrespecting them like that. I don't think they should have booed them."
>
Woods, who was awarded the ANZAC medal for man of the match, was given permission by coach Ivan Cleary not to front the post-match press conference.
>
However, he did speak to several radio and television networks on field after the game, admitting he wasn't fazed by the booing from the fans.
>
"It's sort of footy. The thing is I haven't signed or agreed to anything," Woods said. "It's all speculation at the moment. They were all right during the game. We have the best fans – they are just passionate. Just keep coming, we will keep turning up all year … we will keep ripping in."
>
Woods was heavily criticised for meeting up with Canterbury players in the lead-up to the game against the Bulldogs.
>
He is, however, close friends with David Klemmer and Josh Reynolds, regularly catching up with players he has represented his state with in the past.
>
"I can't even go to a local coffee shop and bring one of my best mates some baby gear because he had a baby last week," Woods said. "The timing wasn't perfect but it is just rubbish. Klem is one of my best mates, I am a groomsman at his wedding. Grubby [Reynolds] is a family friend of my wife as well. It's a bit disappointing the way people look at things but it is what it is in this day and age.
>
"It's good to just get the win. It's been a big couple of weeks but the boys keep ripping in at training. To get that win is good for the spirits."
>
It's been an emotionally draining season for Woods, struggling to deal with the burden of seemingly never-ending contract negotiations. While he insists he hasn't agreed or signed a contract, it seems a foregone conclusion that he will end up at the Bulldogs next year.
>
"It's been a bit tough. I tried to not read in the media as much as I can and focus on the game ahead," he said. "It's probably going to continue for a few weeks and I just have to get through it. We haven't made a decision on our future yet. The media made it for me without us confirming it."

Well you should start preparing yourself to be frustrated with the response you get to that…
@ said:got no problem people booing woods.
it's their money being spent, they can do what they like that isn't breaking the law.
when the going has been tough, these fans still ponied up the money to support this club, while woods dined with the opposition.
remember that marina go.

But what did you honestly want her to say (aside from nothing)?
"Yes, boo that traitorous treacherous lecherous soon to be dog"
He is still currently an employee and he needs to perform at his best, which means he needs to think everyone at the company he works for is on his side, no matter what they may privately think.
Who knows, maybe she also enjoyed the boo haa haa, but she can never say that in public.

i don't believe in calling paying fans disgraceful who simply voiced their opinions.
that is all they did.
