OFFICIAL BOXING DISCUSSION

I'll handle bizz for 25m too.

Well done to him for some financial success.

It's split between promoters,
broadcasters and managment,
they have the lion's share.
Gal is a tough prick no denying.
He didn't need to do it but he did

The first fight on the undercard last night was great. Only a 4 rounder but super entertaining, both fellas took some huge shots but traded the whole fight. Well worth a look.

Beyond tough. I've probably said it previously but I'm amazed these sports are actually allowed today.

I know a guy who won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth games and he told me he hates boxing. My interpretation is that as he got older he thought the sport was bonkers in relation to people punching each other in the head.
Earl there's a difference between a boxer and a thug or someone trying or thinking he can be either.
One of my pet hates is seeing a fighter who is either poorly trained or someone who should have taken up gardening for a living (respect to gardeners).
I've enjoyed boxing and I enjoy watching it too but I don't like the scrappy crap.
To me there's nothing better than watching a Mayweather or Haney type fighter or our own Tim Tszyu who's technique is to hit and not get hit.
For the sport to remain for generations to come there may have be more restrictions placed on boxers ie regular brain scans/time in or away from the game ie forced spell periods....I don't know what the answer is but I'm confident you will never get rid of combat sports so your better off working with the program and try to make it safer.
