So I'm anxiously awaiting the replacement - scared they'll recall the only WT jersey I've ever looked enough to buy! 😳

Was going to wait till next year to get mine, now I'm thinking I'm going to have to do it asap, if it's not our home strip next year it'll definatly become a collectors item.

I was very clear it was aimed at the Wests dinosaurs actively trying t disrupt the club and turn it back into the Magpies.
You shouldn’t be upset unless you’re one of them.
If you’re upset with the ‘dinosaurs’ tag you can take solace in the fact I also wear the label.

I understand your point of view and you have every right to suspect HBG are up to their old tricks yet again.
The issue is we now have swarms of Wests Tigers fans jumping up and down blaming the HBG dismissal of the independent board members based on the media reporting it is largely to do with the 2026 home jersey.
The statement from the HBG spokesperson states a different reason for their dismissal, so are we as fans really helping the matter by coming to our own conclusion without really knowing the real reason behind it ?
I suspect the recent post from Bigscreentv is highly likely the motive, but why would Richo via Barry O do anything that could lead to their own demise ?

Can't really know, but I am thinking they don't want progress under the Wests Tigers banner. This is the first year in 10 years that they recorded a profit without cash from HBG. Richo was open about wanting to run with financial independence from HBG, and maybe they were starting to see their power slipping.

I think HBG probably do need to move on. Their vision for the club seems to fundamentally oppose the vision of the Wests Tigers supporters, the NRL and supporters of the game in general. Which makes you think, why would they bother? One strong motive would be to stop progress of WT because they really want the magpies to live on/take over.

I'm a tigers fan from 1988 - I couldn't care less whether we play out of Leichhardt, Campbeltown, Parramatta or Pittsburgh for that matter.

I also have some experience in business and know that it's harder to screw up like HBG have than it is to make it a success, which makes me think they must be doing it deliberately.

This sounds stupid but it just looks like they're doing things at the perfect time to tank Wests Tigers in the hope of resurrecting Western Suburbs Magpies. That's just my tin foil hat on because I cannot believe there can be a boardroom as stupid and incompetent as we keep being dished up by HBG.

"they" work for the organization and "they" consistently show they have NFI how to successfully run an NRL club that the fans can be proud of - some of who are protected by a debenture system that comes with no accountability for performance.
It appears as long as "they" maintain control success is not a priority.

Same I'm an old Balmain supporter. They made they're bed, if they were any good they wouldn't have needed to merge. At that point they no longer existed it's only Wests Tigers now.
