Other thing hammertime that boggles my mind is last year we were all told that the implementation of the independant board members was being held up by lawyers going over and processing the legal documents required to implement the changes. What kind of papers did these lawyers write up that gives us independence unless the majority share holder decides to change their mind, where did we get our legal reps from wish.

I think HBG probably do need to move on. Their vision for the club seems to fundamentally oppose the vision of the Wests Tigers supporters, the NRL and supporters of the game in general. Which makes you think, why would they bother? One strong motive would be to stop progress of WT because they really want the magpies to live on/take over.

I'm a tigers fan from 1988 - I couldn't care less whether we play out of Leichhardt, Campbeltown, Parramatta or Pittsburgh for that matter.

I also have some experience in business and know that it's harder to screw up like HBG have than it is to make it a success, which makes me think they must be doing it deliberately.

If the HBG voluntarily or are forced to move on, will anybody care ?
I know I won’t.
Didn’t the HBG hire Richo ?
Would they hire someone and then want them to fail ?
I know there is a train of thought that by Wests Tigers continuing to fail will somehow allow Westsrn Suburbs Msgpies to be admitted to the NRL.
Surely everyone knows that is zero chance of happening ?
So considering there is zero chance of Western Suburbs Magpies being admitted to the NRL, how does it benefit the HBG if Wests Tigers continue to be unsuccessful?
We know from many posts on this forum and many comments in the media such as the recent one from Lee Hagi that DB has some wild dream of the Western Suburbs Magpies being re-entered to the NRL, but even if he believes it, surely nobody else does ?

Those bloody pandas. Cute but a bit slow. Apparently they’ll be joined by Joseph Chan, Siua Wong and Gordon Chan Kum Tong when they enter the NRL.

What led you to that conclusion.
Don't forget it is a JV and people can follow Wests Magpies and Wests Tigers at the same time.

Another reason to believe they may have a legally binding reason to dismiss them and it’s not all about an orange jersey which has snowballed through the media on to our ex players and fans.
 
Wests Life (i think thats what theyre called) has a pod tonite at 8.30 with a mysterious special guest

It would be good to get Gary Barnier...Rowdy..Sugar Caine..Beau, to the Pratten pk rally.

Completely agree with you.

I think the problem is that sometimes decision-makers aren't rational. It plays out in public more-so when it's a sports team.

The rationale is completely insane, but there's no other explanation apart from a scenario where Richo/board have done something really wrong. Given his background and track record that is extremely unlikely. Given HBG background, anything is possible.

Maybe it's why the Tigers had that strange sponsorship from the Australian Wrestling Association.

Yeah any high profile person in attendance will help attract the TV news crews - Sam Kostas, Michael Clarke, Benny & Blocker, Anthony Field 'Blue Wiggle', tennis player WT fans Ash Barty & Jordan Thompson.

Also I reckon race caller & big WT fan Darren Flindell will be having a word to PVL too.
