Vicious I totally get your sentiment about waiting for the full story to come out, but I'm cynical it ever will. We will never know the real reasons. What we do know is the reasons provided are near impossible, there is no way HBG had no idea what was going on while they had a rep on the Wests Tigers board.Another reason to believe they may have a legally binding reason to dismiss them and it’s not all about an orange jersey which has snowballed through the media on to our ex players and fans.
I think you could be right. If HBG maintain radio silence the chances are the roll up at Pratten will be so big as to be embarrassing. If the mob are allowed by the police to march to Wests Ashfield that will be truly embarrassing.HBG will have no choice but to provide more public detail around their decision well before this rally I reckon (if there is any substance to it) - detail that answers the questions asked over the previous 80+ pages.
Unless both the HBG reps on the WestsTigers board failed to attend every meeting or never read the minutes then that would have been impossible. The CEO outlined why
Coming from one of the people last year who was saying the majority of us were paranoid cause HBG were always intending to implement the review findings in full. Yet here we are 12 months later. 🤣With respect - I think you had it in the first three words.
Everything is recorded and documented.Yes …and the word of others that said differently …. I wasn’t there so I don’t know …but I’m sure it’s documented somewhere whether something is mentioned in a board meeting or not…
I wouldnt exactly say Campbelltown has embraced WT, rather more they emphatically rejected WSM. Campbelltown and area is certainly interested in WT but there is equal competition for loyalty from Bulldogs and Panthers. I think WT are in front thoughExactly we don't know none of us do it's just pure speculation at the moment. HBG would be well aware that trying to bring back the Magpies will be a failure of epic proportions they wouldn't have nearly enough support now compared to the 90s & the Campbelltown area has already embraced WT's.

I reckon thinking was the last thing that was done- more emotion and spiteIt makes you think what they thought the reaction was going to be ?
Hughes on radio just said he had heard something was going to happen at the board meeting and before that happened the 4 independents are gone.
Could it have been they were going to rebrand wests tigers in nsw cup ?
I guess all will come out in time
They “own the club”, we keep getting told that.It makes you think what they thought the reaction was going to be ?
We’re consumers, not shareholders. They “own the club”, we keep getting told that.
We’re just the peasants apparently. No say and no rights.
Yet they’ll take our cash 🖕
But he hasn't explained anything? He made statements about not being informed... But boards do not work this way.. feel free to educate me where I am wrong... How can they have board meetings and the HBG not know about it when they have 2 members on the board? Why can no one explain this to me?Again Paton has explained why.

We’re more than that to the NRL, well hopefully. We’re consumers, not shareholders.
Make preparations...get ducks in a row...legal advice and position...takes time. Knowing the agreement is up in 2030 just adds another layer to all this and a cloud over the true agenda/direction of the owners unless they renew the agreement.M
Nothing would surprise me …
2030 is a long way away though …. What do they expect to happen in the meantime?
That explanation would make more sense, not the one that their CEO trotted out.Hughes on radio just said he had heard something was going to happen at the board meeting and before that happened the 4 independents are gone.
