probley cause we are more of a chance of getting him than we are of the other 3
i just dont see lima back the way the club treated him
i also think cayless will take Brisbane offer since they actually know how to make the finals
and im sure Tuqiri will go to union,look at the money there offering

some of the people on the forum claimed they already signed and i highly doubt that,i really hope we get all 3 over mason but i think mason is a handy player to have if we cantget any of them

Making a play for Mason is a bad, bad idea. The guy is trouble and is very overrated as a player, and the Tigers are better off without chasing the likes of that goose.

The core of our team is quite good, its just adding that extra go forward and depth. If we sign Jason Cayless and Jeff Lima and they get rolling with Gareth Ellis and co then I can see ourselves mounting a serious challenge to making the finals this coming season.

It is all common sense, get big guys that make space and metres and that allows our backline to be dangerous.

It will be more of an exciting year if we pull off these signings, heres hoping! 😛ray:

Making a play for Mason is a bad, bad idea. The guy is trouble and is very overrated as a player, and the Tigers are better off without chasing the likes of that goose.

Agree 100%, hes a tool and should never put a tigers jersey on.

Saw a little snippet in the Telegraph just inside the back cover saying Cayless has touched down in Brisbane and is about to undergo a medical before the Broncos decide to make a play for him… im not confident in signing any of the three now, looks like all the hype surrounding these guys is just like before... just hype with yet again no action :frowning:

He is a nice bloke and his body has done a few miles.

I still would just be happy with Lima signing. Lote is no hope in hell signing with us and Cayless needs to decide if he wants to live in Brisbane or Sydney.
Lima would complete a good recruitment season for us with Daniela, Brown (will be a good signing), Moors (will also be good signing) and Flangan. Lima would be the experience signing that we need to round it out. All these guys are under 25 years old except Lima and have played a small amount of 1st grade. I think we will have a good shot next year esp with Folkes coming on board and providing that steel edge that we need esp in our forwards.

I would be thrilled with just signing Lima.

I don't think anyone would be upset if we only signed one of the three players we've been linked to. But I think fans will be very upset if we don't sign any of the three.
