Is there an echo?

echo echo echo..Lodge is the next Lodge in the making…

I'd be giving Santi a stint in State Cup...getting him playing 80mins...looked gassed for his short time on the field Friday....

I think Santi's potential is huge. He is a workhorse and reminds of Nathan Hindmarsh (in the middle of his career).
He is not polished yet but he is far better than Lodge and nowhere near as mistake riddled as Sitaleki.

Stick with him. He is going to be something.

Far better than lodge. And Ita Buttrose is far hotter than Elle Mcpherson.

I reckon Santi is going ok.
He made one error last week and missed one tackle this game. Both ended up being costly, but lets face it, everyone makes mistakes, he is being scape goated unfairly IMO

Lovett is pushing hard to make the top 17, but he is an edge player. Santi is playing as the middle reserve. The only way Santi misses out is if they push Sue to the bench to become the middle forward reserve and Lovett to start on the right edge.

Given what Sue offered in the middle might on friday might not be a bad idea. May be worthwhile at least until Lodge comes back.

Santi is a far superior player to Akoula who makes way too mistakes and is a very por defender and at this stage is still ahead of the youngsters Liovale and Funaki (who will prob go past him in the next year or so)

we have had an issue in the middle defensively once our starting players come off.
Santi is terrifically mobile in the middle and a very effective middle 3rd defender.
Bringing him back could solve that problem.
The issue in the middle started once he was dropped.

I thought Santi looked better than he did in his first stint of the year..

To quote the favourite word he was not much of a plodder.

is that a fact fergiefurr? You probably know more than me

It's unlikely a fact.

The way he runs the defence know he's never going to pass it. For a guy his size it makes defending him easy.

I thought he was one of the only positives to come out of the game, played with lots of energy both in A and D. Probably be the first player dropped for our next hit out

You always get a better feel of a game and an individual's performance when you are there …Brenden had an influence on this game his work load was huge a stand out for mine, his contract is up and with the change to the interchange could be a keeper.

Agree. Looking like Woodsy had some of the Souths fans confused. A real good performance.

A couple of times when we were under the pump he pulled out a Fultonesque series of tackles.

how good was that? i reckon he made 3 consecutive tackles from marker at one point!

needs to work on leg drive or at least a faster PTB though.

I think he should be one of the first picked for the 17 every week, every team needs a workaholic, but he will be one of the ones left out to make way for Woods and Farah. I rate him in front of Siro and Lovett, although Lovett also had a great game last night
