Brent Kite possibly leaving Manly

We play at the same golf club,& yep,Lyon is an alround class act & made a positive impression …& although solid, nowhere near as big as I expected.
Kite has been an unsung hero for Manly for some time,but with him & King both in their early 30s Manly needs to develop a succession plan,so one has to go.
Weve got way more than our fair share of veterans already (Lote,Bell ,Utai,Cashmere,& Anast coming)& although Sheens obviously relates to these guys, hopefully Kite isnt going to add to our senior group!

The era that Tommy and Bob grew up in was different to today.

And besides, I dont care if we knock the heads off other players, but I dont like it being done to our players. Call me hypocritical if you want, but I am just a one-eyed fanatical supporter. :righton:

DT today in talks with Tigers …. 50/50 split salary next year 150 grand not confirmed.Happy to come over no nonsence type good value for a couple of seasons.

You can then create wave after wave of go forward, but touch aint played like that
 
I've never thought kite was anything special but watching him this year has changed that.
His defence around the middle is what has really impressed me, seems to hit hard and not give an inch. Just the type we need IMO.

Yeah this is starting to build some momentum

You'd still have to think that Manly will prefer to deal with someone who will take the whole contract on

My other issue is Kite

I'm still not convinced he is going to be happy coming off the bench behind Keefy and Woods
 
Ten times more use to us than Anasta,Big Kef,Woods,Pettyborne and Kite would give you great rotation and would mean Sheens would not have to flog Woods and Galloway like he has to now
