Is Simona injured or is there a chance he could be a late replacement in 1st grade?

How has Chisholm been going - i thought he was a halfback and may have been a chance for 1sts if his form was up to scratch?

He warmed up as cover for Lawrence Monday night.

Because he is likely to do so again and BRET play the day before he will go another weekend without playing any gametime.

I could understand if Lawrence was playing well with a niggle here and there but he is playing like Scott Fulton at the moment

I think the score was 42-18 against us. BRET were leading for almost all the first half but Mounties were too big and strong in the second half, ran away with it. Good for BRET, I thought, was Simona, Junior Moors (who played alot of minutes) and Dane Chisolm (just about our only attacking option at times), but BRET are really lacking size in the middle. Could be a long season.

It was a gorgeous day to be at Leichhardt though, despite the scoreline.

A lot of people are giving Chisholm a wrap recently, I personally think he's been very average, apart from the game in Newcastle. In the first 30mins today he was excellent, controlled and chose good options, but after that he did nothing until picking up a loose ball on full time. Moors wasn't great either, he puts the side under too much pressure trying to offload in his own end. He needs to just run forward and use his size when getting out of their own end, and push the offload when they're attacking. I really thought Harris and Davis were very good on the left side again, while Hitchcox showed great footwork and speed.

For mine the biggest thing going into this game was going up against a legitimate NRL level halfback. I had real fears for what he would do today

Boys should of went in to half time a few trys up,Chisholm's kicking game was great and was very unlucky not have more points off it,thought he could of throw it wide a few times instead of kicking aswell.

Second half they couldnt match it in the forwards and there defense fell apart.Moors looked good early, then stopped going forward and was only interested in breaking tackles and trying to offload. Was running across field trying to palm and run around players and came up with numerous drop balls and bad passes.Needed his go foward in the second half and I doubt it impressed sheens who was up in the stands.

Davis was really good, worked his arse off in defence and made some good cover tackles on the other side of the field that saved some points. Wouldnt be out of place in firsts at all.

Simona definitely is a class above, all his touches where good.
