back in my days playing at Turvey Park in Wagga,we had 4 games a day..

it was a great family day out,it was especially great if it was a local derby played at Wiessel Oval..
Turvey Park v Kangaroos etc..
Wagga had 4 city clubs at that time.TP,Roos,Magpies and Brothers...
Mind you that was 1980/90..I left TP in 1986..
Love it. Wiessel was the best when heaving for derby or grand final. Growing up it was awesome playing u16 before the big fellas.
Unfortunately, Wiessel is gone. And Maggie's and Turvey merged to South Wagga Bulls.
