It's a big change though. Brooks has always been talked up as our 7. Hastings was bought in this season and the lock position was mentioned. It always looked to me like we realized our halves weren't good enough and Hastings was purchased to be a 7.

They've done it now.

I also reckon they are looking at a Hastings/Doueihi halves combination. The players have to prove themselves though which is how it should be.

I'm no Brooks basher but this was coming. We just needed better options. I suggest that Madden isn't playing at 6 because right now him and Brooks are playing at about the same level.
